Hey there! I saw this post on Instagram made by the Santa Fe Botanical Garden saying that they are closed today due to the extreme cold, wow! Places here actually do close here due to winter weather, unlike in Chicago where everyone is so used to it
I only have the 1 orange in the orchard, and the others are pretty cold hardy. The fig might suffer, but we will see. Hopefully, there's a bit of a microclimate effect. 🤞 When are you moving down here? 😂♥️
I pretty much hibernate in the winter, but if this keeps up, I may have to head down to somewhere warmer come February. 😂 I know you love the cold and snowy weather, so you must be so excited. Enjoy!
It was to be that cold here too tonight but ended up not getting as cold thankfully. It will be 12 here Wednesday. Growing up we had a miniature orange tree that grew in the house. Watching in full. Stay warm.
Our high today will be 32, and it sounds like we'll have the same low on Wednesday with a high of 38. 🥶 I have an appointment tomorrow, and I am dreading going out. Stay cozy.
We do as well. I already have some in the freezer, but they're always delicious. We had the turnip greens last night, and I roasted the turnip. It was so delicious and sweet.
That cat was out of control. It would follow us everywhere and pounce on anything that moved in the wind. He really got out of control in the netting. 😂 I finally put it in time out inside our short fence in order to get everything done before 5:30. He finally figured out how to get out when we were starting to work on the tree. He definitely belongs to someone. It's unfortunate that they let it roam.

Atlanta shuts down with ice and snow. It's the prudent thing to do here.
The kitty is helping 😄
🤣 He was helping too much.
Hi Jen ❤ That turnip is healthy. Good luck with the orange tree.
Love the cat! Thanks for sharing.
We were really surprised by the turnip since we hadn't been out to the garden since the first week of December or the end of November.
Making a wonderful video 🎉🎉❤❤❤ great share 🎉🎉🎉❤
Thank you. 😁
Hoping your garden does well with some protection from the freezing temps 👍
I only protect the orange tree, so we'll see how everything goes. 🤞 I know you're well prepared. Stay cozy.
Brilliant. Happiness and Joy to you. Have a blessed time.
Thank you, and to you as well.
I’m hoping that the trees do well during the big freeze ❤. I’m watching . I love the tours😊. (Pick-able) I will be stealing the word 😛.

Yes the cold temperatures are here too. I hope the trees will do well. Stay safe and warm out there😊

Fantastic video 🎉🎉❤
Thank you. I'm excited to see how the garden bounces back after this much colder weather and snow.
Hey Kitty. Meow. I love collards. We eat them year round.
