Ive been doing a wurt playthrough recently and discovered you don't need a king in the caves anymore

The best way to deal with pirate monkeys is to use a pan flute and jump on theyre boat and set the banner on fire. Then row away as fast as possible, they will try to follow but won't stop the fire. So you can get theyre loot. Also btw you can bond a beefalo to a bell and get raided by monkeys and let them take the beefalo bell, then when they leave the beefalo will keep running towards the bell that is now in a X mark. Its usually pretty hard to find the X mark and the beefalo can lead you to your stuff after they've been stolen. Kinda long but hope it helped ;)❤
