Очень символичный клип. Дейв находился в центрифуге с огромными перепадами давления, из за чего несколько раз терял сознание. Весь клип это визуализация того, как выглядит подавленность от потери друга. Однако я также трактую его со стороны падения в яму из за препаратов, когда без них становится каждый раз все хуже и хуже, и человек каждый раз срывается.

I know I’m waaaaaay late on this, but the song is about a woman who can’t have kids carving out the child of another woman 9 months pregnant after chasing her by car into a tree. “See that damned old stork up there? He won’t hear my calls. he won’t read my letters man, in this womb no life at all. Thats what the doctors said, said why even try? Im shut down and im broken deep inside”. And the god lines are about the same thing, the woman was praying to god for a child but that “big ol god up there” didn’t see her, even though she’d “gone to church and prayed incessantly”. And you’re absolutely right, much death metal like this is just like horror movies, dark and fascinating stories for entertainment, may be disturbing to some but highly enjoyable to others. Exactly why I like this song and this band, when they get creative with sad stories like this it’s what gets my brain neurons activated in the best way Again I know it’s 5 years late but my autistic ass couldn’t handle your implication of a man being the killer in the song and the child dying by the end lol😂 it’s just a story of a woman who can’t bear a child, so she carves a child from another, and partially blames god for not being able to bear children despite praying for it. The vocalist who unfortunately committed suicide RIP, was a master of writing lyrics that were equally tongue in cheek in a cheesy 80’s horror movie way while still being super poetic and genuinely sad at times. Like once you fully know the meaning of this songs it just as sad and depressing as it is disturbing. It’s not just a guy killing a woman and her baby, cause there is no guy and the baby doesn’t die it’s being taken but I already explained that

They used this in the most recent chapter of Chainsaw Man. Can't wait for it to finally be animated. The context of its use is pretty much the Free Bird solo scene from Kingsman. Knowing the mangaka's love for Western films, I wouldn't even be surprised if it ends up as a homage to that iconic Kingsman scene. Edit. Turns out the scene in the manga is actually a nod to Old Boy. Thanks to those for pointing it out!

From what i gather from the story a young man/boy kills his mother because she abuses him he has a harsh backlash(saku) but eventually turns out normal even finding a woman to love but his girlfriend hangs herself (kodou)then later in his life he snaps and starts stalking abusive families and bring retribution to abusive parents and letting the children take their anger out on them(revelation of mankind) at least from my inferancing the question is if its all in his fantasies or not the songs are lyrics about the struggle and anger of being abused and the mental gymnastics of people who are unable to cope
