I own one and recently tried to find the filter bags (Royal Type H), but they are now obsolete. It's much more powerful than the Red Plastic Dirt Devil that looks similar.

I think the biggest improvement in the entire industry was HEPA bags.... I mean, look and the inside of the bag when you were demostrating bag off/on.... it stays spotless in there as long as the bags are installed correctly as you showed....and they also don't clog up like paper bags.... One thing I do not understand is someone told me that Kirby doesn't make the charcoal infused HEPA bags anymore.... what a dumb move... Those bags keep the bag from smelling.

Back when they made a quality tractor great video an I'd say that carb could use a tune up

Hi, I did some research more. I figured out while there are tons of insomnia case from withdrawal, there aren’t many case of side effects lasting insomnia. I found 5 cases, but oddly, they were all zoloft induced. Just tell you this might help you. Wish you the best.

I’m really sorry to hear that. Can I also ask where did you find these people with long lasting side effects? I can’t find one really, they’re mostly all from withdrawal. Btw, your insomnia started with Zoloft? not as withdrawal?

sorry it happened to you. Where did you find similar cases? I googled it but can’t find one. And what is your insomnia symptom? Like going into sleep hard? or staying sleep hard? And have you used sleeping pills ever since? I’m on the same boat.

One safe way to cut the hole in the tin is to sandwich the tin between a couple pieces of plywood and cut through one half of the plywood and the tin together. Holds the tin flat and secure. Great tutorial, thanks!

very interesting, we know that Kirbys outperform 99% of most vacuums on the market so I dont think a specific model really matters at the end of the day but it is interesting to look into. I have considered a dirt meter for my G series Kirbys but I have yet to do it

Very cool! I used to have an old dirt meter for the 519 and D80. I enjoyed playing with it. Does a rug cover the high traffic area? If so, that should protect the carpet some because the rug would catch more particles. In any case, both machines were close but the 514 had a slight edge. You might try the 516 vs the 1-CR in another video and see if there's a noticeable difference. I have a feeling there might be.

i was talked into buying the kirby from a door to door salesman and saleswoman and i was feeling pretty duped after the price fully sank in but after 3 months of use i absolutely love the avalir 2 and honestly would recommend them to anyone with carpet and even hardwood as the Wet mop is amazing is extremely handy! Still good to have a swiffer around for ease of cleaning but for cleaning day nohting beats the kirby hands down.
