Employers often have an elevated delusion that differs from the real world..

The "customers" the box truck guys are talking about are actually "clients", aka partnering companies that they deliver loads to. And the a**holes the driver refers to, are ACTUALLY the warehouse workers, NOT the clients (business owners) themselves. And believe me, as a long haul truck driver, shipper/reciever warehouse workers are the absolute d*pshits of the industry. This "boss" of his just wanted attention for the show, and couldn't even have the balls to fire him to his face, or even have said how he allegedly feels to his face when stuck in the box truck with him. The ONLY thing they should be concerned about is making deliveries on time. Lost a really decent local driver for nothing more than his own 15 minutes of fame.

Every one of these managers have a massive issue with customer service. The back side of the business they have a rot behind the counter. It is not a clear understanding of proper training. They were trained badly by a promoted manager. The product is mostly fat and disgusting. Waste is unacceptable, but it does happen. There was not a real clear vision of real leadership at any of these businesses.

Dawg. 😊😅 I have worked in many different customer service jobs. I LOOOVE faking a smile and treating every customer like a be all end all situation. It's my calling! But let's be honest yo. Sometimes we be having a very bad bas day. I'm a few encounters away from becoming the joker at all times. But FUCK THAT THOUGH. The customers are all ME. The right words can make someone's day. The right attitude can broaden someone's perspective. So I will solider on. Not for the company...for ME!
