@@TobiContinued93 My man, Lufia 2 happens to be my personal favourite but I was sticking to the "action" variety of jRPGs, SD3 is okay I guess :] Great taste and cool vids dude!

@@HeatIIEXTEND Ah now I see. Where would you put Soul Blazer then? I think Secret of Mana gets a "I was the first commercially successful action JRPG in the west" and therefore nostalgia bonus, which I think is fair.

@@TobiContinued93 Awww you got me :] Never played Soul Blazer because I didn't like ActRaiser, doesn't make much sense I know :p. Does it stack up well to Illusion of Gaia? Fair on Mana I guess, as long as it gets people to also play its peers :p] and yah to be fair SD3 is quite good, eclipses Mana imo.

@@HeatIIEXTEND Soul Blazer is ok, but dont expect too much if you already played the other titles, it came out way earlier. The most interesting thing about this game then is probably noticing similar themes and ideas that Enix used in the spritual successors.

Honestly, I am enjoying this game way more now than I did on my first playthrough. First one was rough with the story going all around the place.

The official walkthrough (at least the german one) is also kind of weird. It has 14 pages describing prehistoria and also 14 pages describing antiqua, but gothica and omnitopia only get 2 or 3 pages each. I guess they ran out of space since every guide that came with a big box is exactly 72 pages in total.

The Thames is probably one of my favorite locations in Xenogears.

I bought a nice PS1 with a chip to remove the region lock from ebay and use that to play all the PS1 games. Best 60 bucks I spent in the last months.

Ooof, I usually dont go that deep into the technical stuff, reminds me of the crazy damage calculations that Team Darkside did for Monster Hunter.
