I was such a scaredy cat growing up cause I couldn't even watch any of the works you mentioned until I got older, but I ended up watching coraline when I was 15 cause I was getting into stop motion at the time and that not only helped me get over my fear of horror but actually have an appreciation for it! It's one of my favorite movies now 😁

I know!!! I was listening to the song the other day and it blew my mind to think how much it reminded me of Kya. Not only because of the imagery of nature but because she had to avoid being caught by people her entire life: she ran from her dad so he wouldn't hit her, she ran from social services so they wouldn't make her leave her home, she ran from school because the kids made fun of her, she ran from Chase because he assaulted her but he's the only one who never actually left her alone so she killed him. And then she had to run from the cops because they were gonna arrest her for defending herself! So to me, "Can't Catch Me Now" refers to the fact that none of those awful people can catch Kya now that she's passed on. She did what she had to do to survive and carried that secret to the grave, so now her soul's at peace. Sorry for the long winded explanation, I'm just really passionate about this edit, so thank you so much for your support! ❤

I was so glad to find a scenepack for Nina and amber cause I really like their friendship and I just got Belle into house of anubis so I knew I had to include them 💜
