Holy Holly I actually got this up in time! It's a Christmas miracle! You see, I haven't gotten to make any edits this entire month because I've been so busy between shopping, working, and spending time with family and friends. I don't regret that, of course, I'm just a little bummed that I didn't get to make as many videos for Christmas as I did for Halloween since Christmas is actually my favorite holiday. That's why I'm so happy I was able to finish this. Not only is it the first edit I've made for an animated film, but it's one of my favorite Christmas movies. I had the honor of seeing it on the big screen and it was just breathtaking. The story, combined with the cinematography and score, is so rich; it has no age limit. Anyone can enjoy The Polar Express because the message is universal: believing is seeing. This could mean different things to different people, but since I'm a Christian, I view it through a Christian lens. Just like the little girl in the movie didn't need to see Santa to know he was real, you don't need to see God/Jesus to know He's real because if you believe in Him, He lives in you. I love how the boy's journey to believing in Santa translates as a real spiritual journey a person has to believing in God. There aren't very many movies with this kind of message anymore, so I really appreciate The Polar Express. I hope you guys enjoy this tribute and have a very merry Christmas! If you don't celebrate Christmas, that's okay. Either way I want people to have a great day and a happy new year! :)
