I know what you're thinking: "Didn't you already do this last year?" Yes I did, but I wanted a do-over because it wasn't that great. There were few options for me to choose from for the visuals because I haven't seen that many movies/shows with settings that could pass for the Backrooms. However, there IS a boatload of animated found footage videos for the Backrooms on TH-cam, and I knew right away which ones I wanted to use. Although I used a clip from Dr. Sponge, audio from Kane Pixels' Backrooms short film, and re-recorded a voiceover from 11crows' Backrooms playlist (that's my voice you hear at the beginning of the trailer, I just edited it to make it sound like the one from the playlist), the bulk of the video footage came from Lost in the Hyperverse. This is an individual who has an insane amount of talent in 3D animation. Their attention to detail is unmatched. It really feels like you're in the Backrooms when you're watching the videos and it's terrifying in the best way possible lmao. For the music, I used an original trailer song from the also crazy talented Freshman Sound. Hollywood needs to hire this dude! His music always makes me feel like I'm a badass protagonist in my own movie. In combining his material with Hyperverse's, I was able to make the concept trailer I wanted a year ago.
