Tips: When you put a zip tie, even thou it looks like it is tighten at maximum, tighten the tire again by grabbing to left and right areas of that zip tie, squeeze tire and push it down even more, then zip tie can be tighten even more. The soap helps a lot, even thou I thought it is not that important. But try not to cover all tire in soap, or your hands will slip on it. I first tried for around 2 hours by different methods and I couldn't do it, I even tried the zip ties before seeing the video, maybe I seen it before. With above moves and after the video, I put it in 5-10 minutes. It only needed 3 zip ties and I think wider ones work better, at least as wide as in this video. When tire is pushed enough, you will see the loose end looks good and almost on rim. I just used a very small flimsy tire lever.

I got my new tire on the rim but when I try to fill with air the bead doesn’t pop into place like the video. Has anyone else had this problem?

4:31 The fourth cable can't be unplugged that easily... Doing this as we speak and not a single step has gone as smoothly as you said all my battery cover screws are flat head compatible now and I get to the wires thinking it'll be easy now but no they're covered in some gluey resiny shit that caused the yellow wires joiner body to shatter and it still won't unplug and nor will the other 2 about to launch this fucker out a window... It's lucky I live on the ground floor so it would have no pazzazz if I did so rendering the act pointless.

the bolts that hold the tire on the scooter, being on the ground, leveraging your feet and cranking it like that, wouldnt damage the bolt >? good way to do it but that is my only concern

This is a great easy to follow video and you have my thanks, unfortunately the scooter itself was designed and most definitely assembled by Satan himself on an especially ornery day. I don’t think I’ve hated an inanimate object as much as I hate this scooter.

Those alan head screws don't come off that easy. 6 months later, I still can't get them to unscrew. All I want to do is change the back tyre, and I refuse to pay for it when it should be simple DIY. Also, trying to pump up the tyre is gonna be a nightmare, as its right up against the wheel.

Segway should have recessed the screws on the bottom. Anyone that has bottomed out has scraped the screws. I had to hammer the t 15 into half of them and drill one out. One of my wires would not come apart. The plastic was melted onto the medal at he connection. Getting the tires off and onto the rim was one of the most difficult things I have done in years. Of course I did not go out and buy the levers. I would rather buy a couple of happy hour beers, I used large Pry screwdrivers and they got it done .......eventually. bwaa ha ha, I found this video very helpful

Haha back again 2nd puncture in 2weeks .bought the wrong angle valve but made it fit. It popped yesterday kinda glad to get the correct tube on .other tube was fine just the valve angle

Hi there so can you give me a explanation to like how to fix my tires I don’t know if it the same how you did it in the video but while when I was using my scooter today driving it not nomaling for some how it turn off and when I check it I don’t know what was wrong with it but when I check the rear wheel it was a little ripped and it was heating so like can you please tell me what wrong with it Becuase i don’t know that much about scooter my scooter is a ninebot max g2 thank you 🙏

Thank you! Followed this pretty much exactly. Except I utilized a milk crate to hold the wheel in place. Having 2 or 3 levers is necessary. When I first started I was unsure, but sure as hell it went on there! Rides like a dream now, might even get some solid knobby tires for winter now that i know I can do it.

Struggling with a 10" scooter tire, using zip ties to keep the tire from walking around in circles and undoing itself is great.
