Hey guys! Thanks for the video. Made things easy. One thing to note. A pair of channel locks with a C bite will make quick work of the bond that the tire has. Way faster than clamps, and you don't need a bench. Will need to be careful of scratches!

Amazing tutorial but the repair is so ass that I gave up (I can engine swap a car, no problem but this is impossible lol) so I'll take it to a shop on Monday

Great video. I did however boil my tire for close to an hour. Also used a good amount of Dawn dish soap to pry it on. Trick was to get one side on, flip it over and do the other side with the pry bar and screwdriver. I used a solid tire to replace the back tire on my son’s Phantom GoGo scooter from Costco. Getting the original tire off was hard. Ended up cutting it off.

You don't need to disconnect the wheel cable. after you remove the wheel from the axle, flip it onto the axle horizontally with the cable down.

im going to be honest, but the "recommended by manufacturer psi" always seem so high, like the tire looked like it was about to explode, like the littraly cam a line upwards in the middle like the tube was trying to escape

I watched this video, boiling hot water, 3 tire levers and all the strength I have and still can’t get the tire on, my scooter is an ix3 made by circooter off road solid rubber tires and for the life of me and my sisters help we can not get this tire on at all

Thank you for this great tutorial. I wish this video was available when I replaced a small sailing boat tyre 2 years ago. Just replaced a boat dolly tyre using this technique. It worked well.

So I do not know why but mine seems to be glued in. I think someone slashed it while I was working.

Amazing the cable ties did the trick. Took me about 30 minutes with cold tire and without soap, I really don't understand the negative comments it's easy if you have the specific tools in the video (two metal prying bars from ebay), don't use anything else it won't work. The cable ties have to be really tightly secured and it will keep the tire from slipping off the frame. From there it's simple, you don't even need force if you do it right, just keep working in small steps and securing small parts of the tire with cable ties and you'll eventually go around the whole thing. Thanks again ❤

Damn it I removed the tyre thinking that was part of the process and now I can't get it back on

18:46 for some reason, the guard is too wide to grab the wheel now. Makes it very hard to screw it into place, and the brake seems to not align correctly when i do, creating resistance...
