I have a less than 50k on my oil pump and IPR, maybe I will take off the valve covers, redo injector seals, stans, and gasket of valve cover. I put a coolant pressure gauge on my 6.0 to warn me of impending problems. your high pressure oil pump has a little screen (it is called the IPR VALVE) on it that often gets clogged with dirt and other contaminants that often are the result of recent work being done on the engine. i think you can just buy the screen for the IPR. so often that screen is the issue. it can be replaced while not taking everything off. but it is hard to get to, extremely hard. look up Diesel Tech Ron (th-cam.com/users/DieselTechRon) he has great videos about these pressure problems. Here is a good one to begin with th-cam.com/video/-VFu-73mpSQ/w-d-xo.html. also a common issue is the oil pressure leaking in the 'stand pipe' or 'dummy plugs' which are located in the valve covers. hope this helps.

      @@paggre my guess is your lpo relief valve was partially stuck making it hard to build oil pressure. Or your drain back valve had trash in it letting oil past it and when you cranked the truck without the filter you dislodged whatever it was or your truck was warm when you were cranking with the forscan and by the time you were done with the fuel filter had cooled enough to build oil pressure again which would mean you have a oil leak when hot creating a crank no start hot only.

    • @paggre

    • @jamesfaison9410
      @jamesfaison9410 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You definitely have a HPO issue. Your desired versus actual values are not even remotely close for the engine to run. Unplug the ICP sensor and try to start the engine. If engine starts, replace ICP sensor. If not, I suspect a massive leak or a faulty HPOP. Remove IPR valve and pressurize the system. Listen for leaks. If none found, you have a faulty pump. Any parts you purchase, get them from FORD! Aftermarket parts (including filters) do not work well in these Powerstroke engines. I've replaced many HPOP and IPR because the owner decided to save a few bucks on a cheap aftermarket filter......

    Great idea, using epoxy putty! Hope she's still paddling like a charm. I have the exact same kayak, which I also bought second hand. Over here in England, they are branded as the Enigma Kayaks Pro Fishing 12. I'm in the process of repairing a graze to the bow keel. Lots of videos on repairing HDPE kayaks, but not so much on LLDPE. I will definitely be checking out your epoxy as an option down the line. Is the epoxy salt water safe? Thank you for sharing.

      Hey thanks for watching! Yeah the epoxy is still holding strong. I live on the east coast of Florida. It's never seen the ocean but the brackish water of the intercoastal rivers. I appreciate your comments!
