Im also happy to say i beleave this crap will one day go back to brick and mortar, already people are not getting their packages, people are stealing the packages, i really the battery cars will also go away, if you look at history governments introduce industries that many end up failing even after giving alot of money away to promote, money they dont have just added to budget deficit, all the hinest people have to do something to sustain ourselves, use them like they use you, and get out of there as soon as possible, staying in shape is a beautiful thing, but wearing your body out is not good

But know this youll be to tired to play with your kids, youll just be to tired period, youll make just enough money to make you feel like your making good money, take it from an old route driver from the old days we had 30 to 50 stopsnot 150 to 300 and who knows how many packages, it will scramble your brains youre dreams will really screw with you

No fan or heater in the van for some relief. So, giant Amazon is Scott free of benefits for it’s drivers. Wow! Not cool, Amazon. Thanks for the video. I try it out and the experience was ok the first week then after that it just kind went not so good. Too much walking, running and going up and down the apartments just took too much a toll on your heel and knees. I quit as my knees just aren't as durable as when youre young and full of energy. Sometime you have package address that are not where it says it is.

There are Amazon Delivery drivers that come to the neighborhood in the Amazon Trucks/Vans , then you see other Amazon Delivery drivers delivering packages in a normal (personal) car. Why is it that some Delivery drivers get to use the Amazon Vehicle and others have to use their own to deliver packages? 🚚🚗 Just thought it was weird seeing an Amazon delivery driver delivering packages in their own car.

You talk about how boring the orientation is. Thats why Amazon drivers get laughed at about how bad they drive and there poor methods! It important to watch those videos and learn proper methods to avoid accidents. UPS drivers have hundreds of methods and rules they must follow or get written up or fired! Thats why they have the best safety record in the business!

Damn what? I started doing UPS seasonal last month and it was basically the same, except I use my own car. Just did it for 3 weeks. It was a very easy job but hard work. We get the same device like you and do basically the same thing. I would get 50-130 package each day. I knock out 50 in 2 hours and 130 in about 5 hours. Here in SD, we get paid $23 plus .69 a mile. But you right, the dogs are a no no, break time is hard, it’s hot af, but on some routes, you get drinks and snacks from people. I wouldn’t do this job again. Just did it cause I had a free month.

I worked as a customer service rep for Amazon for a few short months. I could not take it... My team lead and the SME was a slave driver along with high KPI's and the sheer volume of calls per day... It was too much for too little. The pay was atrocious. It was the year 2017.. Our pay was about $1.50 per hour on rough estimates.. About $270 per month (Php 13,500). 8 Hours of work 1 hour unpaid breaktime, plus almost daily overtime. No subsidies on food whatsoever at the cafeteria. After 3 months, I could not bear the constant nagging of the SME and Team Lead. I resigned and never looked back. All I got from it was a lousy Prime Day T-Shirt. Amazon contracted Sutherland Global Services as the contact center for its Cust Care Department.

I can get nearly slenderered and internally tendered by greens known as asparagus if I on the first night eat at least half a package steamed in pressure cooker or butter-fried in a pan when the asparagus-eating interval is something like months ago or in-between/apart. But, after uncontrollable slendering, spanning maybe one day, all's good. I can wipe out the spears over the next two to three days without incident. But, lately, with the eca feca e. Coli incidents in the news, and my wanting to avoid disastrous endcidents, I soak or rinse almost all my veggies and even packaged non-ground meats in vinegar before cooking. Also, before putting anything into my fridge or cabinets, I soap or vinegar rinse feuits, veggies, rinse cans, packages, etc. Have seen one-too-many sketchy people and their dogs touching or licking merchandise from shoulder height to floor height. (Not that either crawled or scaled the shelves to do it...) And, I know, when I was in the Navy, many thousands of Moon cycles ago, when we stowed and broke out canned goods, we stood on cans to reach higher-stowed items. While attending a Navy school in San Diego in 84, I visited a sub that was headed for a polar cruise, and they had nbr 10 cans stashed every imaginable place, some being stowed while I was getting a tour. "Deadly Force Authorized" tags visible in the Torp Room, and Nr 10s everywhere. Having worked in restaurants and supervising high schoolers, I've seen some do sketchy things with food. Amazing what people do when they aren't being watched. Always reminds me of Oingo Boing's "Nasty Habits". Funnily, in 86, while I was at Radioman "A" School, a BUDS/SEAL trainee introduced me to Oingo Boingo. Anyway, last year or so, I read somewhere that for pressed garlic to work its magic, it must be eaten raw, and if minced/pressed, it has to sit around 10-16 mins before ingestion. I like pressure cooking chicken with garlic, ginger, turmeric, etc. But, lately, I've been mixing soy sauce, turmeric, ginger, Sriracha sauce, garlic, and wasabe and then spinning the burger patties in that before frying, then smearing avocado, mustard, and ketchup on the pan-toasted buns. No disasters - yet. Nice aromatics, too, if it glazes onto the pan, I walk out half an hour, and return. Happy Holidays!

Never again doing this. I lasted 9 months and 9 months was way too long. The physical aspect was ok, I’m fit and I enjoy walking and running, but it came down to the mental state of this job. Stressed with the amount of stops (190 stops) without help, maybe a rescue now and then, but pretty much you’re on your own. Delivered in California. Main thing is the traffic. Also apartments. Homes on top of the hills are brutal especially at night, I didn’t get home until midnight. 10/11 hours each day. Also jump starting the vehicle was hard. Once I jump started the van 7 times while trying to complete my stops in the day. Was mentally stressed. Also the dogs. Once I heard a dog barking and before I knew it the dog was chasing me down the driveway. It was scary and still to this day I have a mild fear when I hear a dog barking thinking it may run out to me.

I'll be 25 in a couple months and have over 14k in credit card debt and just under 20k in a car loan with a credit union. Im having to miss payments every month. I would like to start Active duty like.. Today, like i'm really eager for the new experiences and skills I could gain and that it could really help pay my debt. But I do want to take a few days off during my contract and visit my family because family is an important part of life, I want to make sure they are happy and that I could do something that could help them if I can. I'm not athletic because of my exercise induced asthma and I would like to be athletic though. The main problem is that I know when I leave the military, I will not have a job. I've already applied to possibly tens of thousands of jobs and not gotten an interview. I can show my indeed and my email. I don't know if i should just choose the longest military contract and keep renewing or if i should do something else idk

Many people that have worked as amazon drivers have quit, and it's understandable why so many amazon drivers quit. Lots of amazon delivery drivers that quit are hard workers, have a great work ethic, are great employees, are in great physical shape, etc. Many amazon delivery drivers quit since they constantly feel pressured and rushed to make 200 stops per day and make 20 stops per hour. At Amazon, many drivers have to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour, and they're being monitored to make sure they're making 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour. There's lots of circumstances that occur that make it hard or even impossible to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour such as traffic jams, detours, rainy conditions, delivering several packages to apartment complexes, customers asking questions about packages, etc. Many amazon delivery drivers urinate in cups on the side of the road due to fearing that if they stop somewhere to use the bathroom, they won't be able to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour. Many amazon delivery drivers skip their breaks, run stop signs, run red lights, etc due to feeling rushed and pressured to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour.
