I've been working on grimdark Necron's, was worried that my models were just looking bad because everytime I google Necron models I see pictures of these clean pristine looking things and I thought maybe I had taken the wrong approach and everyone would just laugh at me but this video has made me feel more validated so thank you :)

Extremely useful and inspiring, thank you! After years of industrial dystopic terrain, I might be delving into turnip28 or forbidden psalm the last war, and this tutorial was perfect for grimdark swamp and boggy bases, unlike the cartoonish gw style.

Grim dark is not my style of painting, but something about this paint scheme really makes me want to use it for my slaves to darkness army. Great video

As someone who does speak English as a first language I mess up all the time. Don't worry about it. We can understand what you mean. Plus as I'm sure the world knows American English is very different than British, or even Australian English. So yeah you pronounce the words how you like.

Hey dude. Great video, really inspired me to attempt some grimdark necrons. Very thorough and helpful for a newbie. I dont own an airbrush, do you have any advice on how to approach the greens on the weapons/orbs?

I recently got a bottle of streaking grime for dak hover the color like a olive green instead of the light sandish green in this video any guess why? Is it just a case of it looking darker in the bottle?

This effect looks really good. Although there are places in the Blade that do not have color where there "should" be color. This makes the weapons look dull and unfinished. Maybe adding the effect to the tip of the curved blade as well might make the weapon look more deadly and natural. But this is just my opinion on it, the effect still looks awesome 👌 love your dark style so much, keep it grim and keep it dark brother.

Nice technique but you did not cleaned miniature before painting. There is not removed plastic on top the helmet that may be seen on 1:21 of movie

The only downside I can find in this tutorial is I already have a colour scheme for my thousand sons! Feel like buying myself yet another Ahriman and painting him up like this...
