hey man thank you so much you've solved a problem I've had for a minute since all these tutorials seem to be targeted to TV users with all these hdmi's and honestly I'm not trying to change my monitor. so I bought this and a few more things I had on my cart through your link, hope you get your much deserved commission my guy🫡

So question on amazon it says it doesnt work with a splitter or switches(not the consol). but im wondering if it still will like some products, my tv doesnt have display ports and i want to use this adapter in the video for my ps5 pro and my xbox series X but i need one that works with a splitter or switch any recommendations anyone?

Hey, I just bought this yesterday hoping my problems were fixed. Not really. I plugged it into my series S and my DP to my monitor connected with the adapter, but yet nothing seems to work. I’ve tried switching my overrides to everything. All my screen does is go black. Usually it’s because you need a hdmi 2.1 but the adapter already has a built in one. I really need help I’m so confused.

Cant u just use a hdmi to display porr cable?

How do you set up a webcam on Xbox one original not s series

I purchased a gaming monitor not knowing it didn’t have built in speakers! Can I just use a gaming headset to connect to my PlayStation controller and I will have sound?

Bought the exact same adapter, hooked it up to my Samsung G5, and it still says capped at 60. Cables not the issue, I was getting 165 using the same cable except hooked up to my PC. PS5 settings are on performance and 1440, ran the test and it said capable of 1440 and 120fps, but no dice. Any suggestions? TIA!

You'll get a massive amount of input delay if you can even get it to work .Theres no magic work around except dropping a chunk of money on a decent monitor

I thought I did it the way u have it but my mic isn't being picked up still.. so idk what's going on, couldn't really see ur wires can u send me q better video showing these connected? Just change the ps5 from 60hz to 120hz your monitor should auto detect it my msi one does.

Very helpful video! I have a Sony headset that is connected through a USB dongle at the back. and external speakers connected to the monitor. The sound output from the monitor is pretty low. How about I want to use both systems through my PS5 to use them in different situations?

Could you do a USBc to Aux cord ? Skip your adaptor ?

I just got the adapter today and it works but the audio keeps cutting out and coming back. My soundbar is in mono, so idk if that’s the reason, but I’m kind of hoping it’s just that

I have the exact same adapter as you, plugged it on the same ports as you did on my Xbox series x but it doesn’t work, I’m still stuck at 1440p@60hz or 1080p@120hz. Is there anything I could be doing wrong?

Imma little confused my monitor is a 240hz 0.3 ms but certain games on xbox i can only run 60hz I can’t go higher then that will this adapter help? Cuz on pc its 240hz but on xbox im stuck on 60hz

I have an important question here. My soundbar only has USB and Digital In (optical) ports and my monitor has that 3.5 mm jack. Should i use a USB sound adaptor to connect the USB port from my soundbar to the aux on my monitor?

I have an Asus VG248QE and it only maxes out with display port/dvi and not hdmi, just 60 hz for hdmi. then i found your video. Went to amazon read reviews and saw someone commented the same problem and monitor and it worked. will be ordering mines soon.

i bought one from Temu, and i got it today, i tried to plug the dp port into the monitor and then plug the hdmi into the hdmi and it still says no signal. anyone has some info on what i should do?

What if my monitor has a 200hrz refresh rate but it’s not a 4K monitor. I’ve tried connecting the DP to my Xbox and basically says that my monitor is not 4K compatible. But it should still connect to the DP right?

Then what works for an xbox then?
