i have many hours of exp in fs2020 but i really can't refuel in flight. i've tried with f18 and f35 and 2 different tankers. everytime i come next to the tanker it seems that my speed is limited, affecting my ability to get back and retry the approach. and there is too much turbolence around the tanker, so even if i can get like 5 meters behind the target, i loose all the control on the plane. i've done like 20 attempts and 0 were successful . any hints?

You gotta be more gentle with the hotas, try doing smalled adjustments instead of massive corrections since that will just make the problem worse

The only issue I have with this is: If I set the tanker to fly at 250kts I have to fly 255-260kts to even reach the tanker

im in love with this addon, i bought it a while ago and haven’t had a problem with it.

I cant get it to work on xbox series X. It says to remove quick resume which i did and restarted the game but still doesnt work. Do you need to purchase a specific air tanker for it to work as well?

Can you update this add on?It s really enjoyable to have dog fight in msfs

I'm trying to find the video... But there is an F-18 pilot on tiktok and i believe TH-cam that shows and talks through every step of RL refueling and if you follow his instruction by applying them to msfs it makes refueling so much easier and fun. I'll try and find the video and reply here

This is really nice, because it gives you something to do and to practice with military birds in MSFS. If something like that is possible, maybe it would also be possible to spawn in aircraft for practicing formation flying? So a plane in front of you, that does some altitude and / or speed and direction changes and that you can joyn and try to stay in formation? Would be another thing the military does.

The process is very complicated from what I saw in the clip. I hope to add an automatic fuel refueling option, not a manual one, because it is really difficult to balance the speed.

Will more tankers be added in the future? Like kc 130

Thank you so much for your effort on this. Fly on the xbox only the Eurofighter from CJ Simulation and I tried it several times but unfortunately without success. (Rookie Mode) Could you please tell me if this is also workable for the Eurofighter? Thank you Markus

Hi all, when i set the speed of the tanker, then tune my autothrottle to that speed, the tanker is always moving faster than me and i can never get in line with the boom. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong

Thank you for this! I think a very simple mode in which the tanker is always attached to the jet, in like a static way would also be nice for the visuals. Perhaps with a little movement programmed inbetween the two if possible, but that it always stays attached. This would open up more possibilities for videographers.

This is amazing! I never thought I'd see this in MSFS, but here we are. Even with a drogue or boom that actually attaches to the aircraft. This and the Miltech Supercarrier added so much more to the military aircraft experience in Flight Simulator. Thank you both!

This is insanely cool! One prob I've noticed is that the F-18 seems to have a bit of trouble hooking up to the tanker, and requires me to fly into to the cable. Haven't tried the other's yet but even with the glitch, this is insanely cool!
