If you want a Darkhorse for cheap, get a Mach 1. I'm loving mine so far

5.7 ground clearance on the GT is a reason to select it over the Dark Horse. If one lives up north all season tires are very beneficial. I owned a 2020 GT500 for 2 years. Had to get rid of it because of the low ground clearance and the summer only tires. The Dark Horse is a beautiful vehicle. The Spoiler and wheels that come with the performance pack on the GT are fabulous but I had to avoid the performance pack because of the summer only tires. By the way my GT Premium has 6 pistons brembos up front and 4 piston brembos in the rear.

If your dark horse has the center dash speaker like my s550 has with the BO sound system. The dragys magnet on the back of it will stick to the speakers magnet. No tape or holder necessary

UK dude here living in Dubai where for some lazy-ass reason the Ford dealership here only imports autos. So, I could have had a GCC spec DH in auto in February but sod that; I bullied them into special order a manual for me. Vapor Blue, black roof. It was built last week and arrives in Dubai in August. I'm sure it will be worth the wait!!! Will have to decide whether to keep my BOSS302 or not when it arrives.... 😛 Nice video bro and very honest. Gave me some good tips for when mine gets here 🙂

The Dark Horse is nice but I think it’s way overpriced! I’ll stick with my 2019 GT with PP1 which I got a great deal on. Thirty seven five before tax, title and license. I added a Corsa extreme cat back exhaust system, an MGW race spec shifter along with a tune. Putting out about 450 horsepower to the wheels. I’m Happy! I love my pony!

@FreewayMedia put the AWE - AWE SWITCHPATH EXHAUST FOR S650 FORD MUSTANG DARK HORSE - QUAD DIAMOND BLACK TIP on, you get an extra 8 to 10 horsepower along with the aggressive sound.

No need to supercharge- get better at driving first. Even then, for street driving too much power can ruin the joy.

Does it have the handling package ? Any thought if its worth optioning ?

Good video Brother!!! I have seen 7 videos on the DH where the carbon filters were removed and immediately placed on the Dyno. Average rwhp gain was 12-17. Lethal Performance is selling better air filters than the ones from K&N that with the removal of the carbon filters plus adding their performance filters revealed 12 - 24 rwhp. Plus if you get Kooks headers I recommend that you pay the $200 to ceramic coat the headers. Plus AWE Catback exhaust keep the active valve control gains another 10 horsepower on the Dark Horse. Steeda did a dyno on Chris Cervenco’s car and adding their H-pipe showed 10+ rwhp on his DH. I seen many videos on the headers adding 30+ rwhp. Doing all that gets you over 500+ rwhp for under $4200 dollars. Steeda H-pipe is ~$300; MBRP Catback is the cheapest at ~$800. Headers are costly about ~$3100 that includes the install labor. All together my notes show +70 wheel horsepower to take you to a Dark Horse 500+ rwhp daily driver. Plus you are then set to add boost like the new Whipple Stage II 3.0 Gen 6 SC! On 93 pump gas plus Boostang and you easily w/Stage II have 750 minimum rear wheel horsepower Cheers‼️👍👊💪😎🇺🇸

Let me help you out.. Get your oil changed ASAP! Go with Amsoil signature series 5w-30. Have the dealer put on a Ford performance oil filter. Get rid of the carbon traps. Get a Borla Switchfire, trust me. Once you get the oil changed, drive the car progressively harder over a short period of time... The oil has microscopic metal particles that you need to get rid of. Amsoil has an amazing additive package and is superior.

Get the ford performance catch cans, they catch a good amount of oil on my 24 GT. Also, I've commented in the past but you're very close to me, I know exactly where you took those photos. We should meet up and compare the GT to the DH. MT82 vs Tremec etc.

I kept my paid off Honda civic for less than ideal driving or parking situations where I live. I got a 24 Base GT in manual…there have been some days where I’ve picked the wrong car to drive as it relates to traffic. Nonetheless before I even got my mustang this was always going to be the plan. I had no intention on this car exclusively being the only mode of transportation for me. Well at least not now. But i have several friends who daily drive mustangs tho.

Man, I love the Dark horse and this video was just what i needed bc i want to daily drive it, but I was concerned about MPG. Did you primarily drive it in the local streets vs highway to get that 12 mpg?

I thought the same thing about Blue Cruise. I tested these when test driving the trucks and it constantly yelled at me about my eyes. Ended up buying a Lariat without the blue cruise and that was the right choice for me! No eye tracking, and does the exact same thing. I’d rather keep a little pressure on the wheel and not be yelled at for not looking 100% of the time than being able to drive hands free (which never worked on my test drive even on i95)

I'm thinking about buying a dark horse, when building it online they didn't have an option for red brake calipers. Did u get them aftermarket? The red looks good 👍
