Casio G-Shock “Casioak” GA-2110ET-8AER Review
My thoughts on the much loved Casio Octagon series. (Note: I forgot to mention in the video that the indexes are nicely applied to the dial and well executed 😁)

Just another “homage”? Seiko Prospex Compact Solar Review

My first video, sharing my thoughts on the Seiko SNE569P1. Design, specifications, likes and dislikes. . . #seiko #seikowatches #divewatch #divewatches #homagewatch #affordablewatches
Looks big & banal on your wrist & average at best for an uninitiated eyes!
My seico watch is the best but i cant tell until 2030 the basic reason
Why all the watchers shows the tthe seconds?
I think adidas ultraboost light is not good watch as they said
Nice video mate. I absolutely adore this model. The bezel and dial colour is just brilliant. I can see this being quite collectible in a few years. For some reason it appears Seiko discontinued it! Madness.
i tried this on at a seiko store. nice watch, but i don't recommend it. not good: the design of the case. the lugs are too thick, too straight, and too long. it looked like i was wearing a bezel on top of a huge H. also, the case is too flat. it doesn't curve down enough. it looks like you're wearing a tiny stretcher. the bracelet is atrocious for $500. it's incredibly see-through. massively jangly. poor finish. horrible. good: nice sweet spot in terms of size for average wrists. thin case. simple timeless dial design. convenience of a quartz. for me, it's a mediocre watch for $500. I'd consider it for around $250. seiko is charging a huge premium for their brand name. just get the citizen ny 0040. a little bigger at 42mm, but it wears smaller. Incredible quality.
🤩 Thanks for sharing your clear and helpful perspectives on and experiences with this watch 🤩
You should not be allowed to touch a watch
I love this watch❤
I wish it was 41-42mm diameter, in my opinion it is too small.
What is a “ tool “ watch… ? , come on..
I own this watch with the "mystic forest" dial. I absolutely love it!!! However, the movement is definitely lacking... I lose at least 30 seconds a day, which is extremely frustrating.
I want one!!!
Great looking watch
Great looking watch but is the worst Seiko Ive ever owned. First year owning -2 minutes per day. Took it to AD who recalibrated it under the guarantee. 4 months on running -60 seconds per day. Seiko QC is a joke.. the 6R35 movement terrible.
🤩Thanks for your insights and sharing your well-structured opinions on this lovely watch 👍
🤩 Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insight 🙏 great video 👍
It's hasn't really taken design queues from the Submariner; it's more a case of convergent design. Crown guards are entirely functional, and if we're going to appeal to the design of the face, we have to talk about the 50 Fathoms; which I'm pretty sure was milspec anyway (I'd have to double check).
Perfect, and most perfect the titanium model. My problem is the design of logo, I don't like it...
super!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sne569p1
A propper tool warch is an Invicta quartz subby with screw down crown for under $80. A $500 watch isn't really something I'd throw in the toolbox. Cheers. Nice video.
I got the SNE585PI yesterday and I put it straight on a French military Nato strap. I absolutely love the watch. imho solar is a genius movement!
Looks nice
How does this compare to a classic NATO as far as comfort?
You definitely notice a difference in comfort. The surface texture isn’t as soft on this strap but it didn’t irritate me to the point of having to remove it. This watchgecko version is the only example I have owned of this type so you may have a different experience with other brands.
Perfect design combination of Pelagos 42 and 39 👍
I'm enjoying mine, same version as yours, two weeks now, eBay from Hong Kong to US. I hate the bracelet, and will soon get the custom one Marc at Long Island Watch made. The fact it's a solar quartz is not a negative, but a positive; it's 10.7 mm thick! One point never discussed anywhere in youtube is the dial. Yes, it's a sunburst, but I'd swear it is a midnight blue in direct light. I dunno, it could be due to the bezel reflecting, but nevertheless this dial/bezel combo is the nicest thing in my collection!
Do you still enjoy wearing this nice watch?
Good points. Yes the bracelet is irritating. It’s as if they gave it solid links to justify the higher price but didn’t think about the profile and aesthetics. The stock bracelet irritates me more than some of the older seiko 5 bracelets. Thankfully the Long Island bracelets have had great reviews. I ordered one today. I’ve sold the watch and bought the matte black version for the full no nonsense tool watch aesthetic that I always crave. I think this will balance out the rest of my collection. Thanks for sharing your experience. Let me know if you get the oyster or jubilee style from Long Island and your experience with it please. 👍🏽
Great review thank you 🙏
E meu sonho ❤
What has been your experience with Accuracy with this watch ?
Nice casual style dude.
Glad you like it mate! 👍🏽
Seiko watches a far too expensive for what they are. A company taking the micky out of customers. Micro brands are better value and have better build quality.
Great review. Such a great beater watch, one of the most comfortable dive watches I've owned. This model really grew on me over time, and it ended up taking over from my SPB143 (which I've since sold off to a good friend).
That's great, and very nice watch. Do you think if I wear this nice watch many ladies will enjoy looking at me? Thank you.
I had absolutely the same experience although I sold the SPB143. I do think that the Solar is an all round better watch although the SPB143 has more mass appeal looks wise. 👍🏽
@@anima201Thank you. That hasn’t worked for me but you may be better looking than me so it’s hard to say. 🤣
@@Thewatchera1 Thank you. I will do my best. And I will now purchase this watch and enjoy it.
This is on my list to get next. Thank you for doing a great review.
I love the 2100, although I agree I sometimes find the negative digital display is a bit difficult to read. Beyond that I think it is a very stylish watch and often get complements on my CasiOak.
Absolutely agree with those comments. Aesthetically, the stealth is amazing. 👍🏽
Worth pointing out that every feature on this watch and bracelet is designed to ensure the watch complies with ISO dive watch standards. The stamped parts and lack of a date window bezel means that there is nothing to fall off and jam the mechanism under water. The lumed second hand counter balance means you can check the watch is running at a glance under water. Screw down crown, sapphire glass, a two second jumping second hand if the battery is low, 120 click dive bezel, a lume pip at 3 O’clock, and some form of anti reflective coat inside the crystal, are all part of the certification process. This is a professional dive watch even if most examples will be lucky to see the bottom of a swimming pool, let alone get anywhere close to their dive tolerance.
Thanks for sharing that info buddy. Really insightful. Gives me more appreciation for this piece now. 👍🏽
This is a proper dive watch with decent specs and accuracy without being oversized. If this is a homage in any way, then this is the watch and price of the stuff Rolex should be making if they were remaining true to their origins. I regard this Prospex range as the best decent Seiko available for a reasonable price. Looks good enough for business but is tough enough to be used as a genuine dive watch. Quite a few people have referred to these models as being “a supposed to be professional dive watch”. It is actually an ISO certified professional dive watch and that accounts for the price. Worth every penny and will put a smile on your face every time you look at it.
Well said mate! I bet Hans Wilsdorf would appreciate this as a precision tool if he saw it on a divers wrist. (Don’t tell the snobs I said that) 😂😂😂
Had a similar experience with the Seiko SUR371P1.. sub 300 quid, titanium, 40mm, light and thin. Initially felt underwhelming next to other watches, though is now a firm favourite.
Thanks for sharing that. I wish there were more reviews on that watch it looks a bit like a titanium version of the Sarb033. Classy elegant design. 👍🏽
An 'Explorer' in every sense WITHOUT being a homage or the ridiculous price. More water resistance too.
58 replica with a date
As an owner of both I would say they’re very different watches with some similarities. They feel extremely different. The black bay 58 feels like a well built luxury item that is a nod to history. The seiko feels like a well built modern day no nonsense functional tool watch that just happens to have good looks as well. The black bay feels like I have to take care of it. The seiko feels like a reliable grab and go no matter what.
Good review. I am seriously considering this watch and the BN0166 limited edition. I think I will choose the limited edition in a few days but if I cannot find the limited edition, this blue version is very good as well.
Hi my friend. I’ve been away for a while. Thanks for the comment. Which colour way did you go for in the end?
@@Thewatchera1 I went for the limited edition but later find out I prefer the blue one more. I will buy the blue one, compare them and sell one
Just got mine and I love it except the screws. They are proprietary and no extras. I buggered one up already. Hopefully they will send me a couple
The screws did sometimes come loose on my example. Hope your issue got resolved. 👍🏽

Yes I do intend to review this one. 👍🏽
Great designs, sturdy builds. And hardy NH35. I have a fiew.
Couldn’t agree more on the description.
I removed the cyclops off mine. Looks much better.
I’ve seen a few pictures of the turtle without the cyclops. It does look better I agree. 👍🏽
Nice. Is there something wrong if I still really like this watch even though technically I have better watches? Something about the new SRPE Seiko’s look so good, especially for a daily.
Nothing wrong with that at all. It has its own vibe and that vibe is wonderful in it’s own right! 👌🏽
Is it a negative display ?
Apologies for the extremely slow response. It’s a positive display.
Hi. The black one is great. Looked cool and stealthy on the wrist just not the most practical for me. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ve never checked the green one out, I’ll have to. 👍🏽
