I’d like to think that this quest was done as premonition to the Witcher 4 and Ciri’s ability to travel between worlds and even time. I wonder how this power will be explored. It will definitely suck if Ciri lost all her powers when defeating the White Frost, when the Elder Blood is considered extremely powerful. I doubt it’ll easily disappear. I think the trailer didn’t show Ciri using it either due to its possibly not working well with the Witcher mutations or she is not using it to ensure others such as power-hungry, fully sentient beings won’t hunt her down.

This dialogue seems like it was spoken by non other rather than Mr. Gaunter O'Dimm himself. The way he directs him after it to go after Striga also seems fishy...

I tried to hang out with Ciri as much as I could, and that lead to a bad ending. Maybe I should have had more faith in her, and let her do her job by herself.

Theory: Ciri blames herself for the renewed conjunction of the spheres, which brought new monsters, and thus decides to create new witchers in a new school and become a full-fledged witcher herself.

My first ending is when she becomes a Witcher
