Had the pleasure of talking with Derek for a few minutes at namm this year. Super down to earth guy 🤘🤘. Got the run down of his pedals in person, can’t believe how light those things are 🤘. Thanks to Zed I’ve been rocking my own axis longboards since June . Absolutely fucken love them 🤘nothing but good shit to say about these guys 🤘🤘

I think we all know what Ken can do, he has a hundred drum cams on youtube. Can we just stop bitching about the mix and appreciate sven being able to squeal like a 4,000 pound pig live into a microphone? For christ sake people love to fucking bitch. He probably has 10 drum cams of this song alone on youtube with better mixes go watch one of those you god damn whiners. Sven with some of the best lows in the game with range on top of that. Literally sounds like a hog getting killed in slow motion. Legends

haha bitching about the mix... dude, this is 90% of death metal shows. Snare is nonexistent except on skank beats. Kicks sound like a typewriter, guitars are static, bass might as well have stayed home, and vox are always up too high. I don't have to take my shoes off to count how many death/black metal shows I've been to with a GOOD mix, and I've been going to shows since the early/mid 90s.

My only problems I had with the pedals were many different parts adjustment allen wrenches and the double pedal drive shaft broke made rattles probably some bearings. The springs would loosen all the time I had tk keep tightening it. I never could get the left pedal exactly the same as the right.

Customer service for this company is basically non existent now. Sad, seems like zed is in charge of a lot and doesn’t know what he’s doing.

To this day I never used an allen key on the pedal. I have always adjusted the beater angle with the drum key only...

Derek is a living legend. Such vast knowledge and skill. The pedals are just an extension of his foot essentially.

Just one slight correction - The E kit and spring detonators we’re actually included on the very first Axis pedals, which premiered in June 1990!
