UBE Wonderland - Filipino Night Market in Scarborough (Toronto)
Decided to take a trip back to my old neighborhood (Scarborough) to attend the Filipino Night Market - Ube Wonderland.
Loved the organized layout of the event + vendors chosen as their was not too many duplicate in regards to food.
Overall really good times seeing all the filipino vendors showcase their products and offering delicious food/beverages.

My friend Adrian from highschool recently took over a gelato franchise location in Markham, Ontario called Nanis Gelato. He has since been experimenting with different flavours for the local community. He recently launched a halo-halo gelato. Halo-Halo is a filipino dessert usually served with shaved ice, ube ice cream, leche flan, fruits and condensed milk. Minus the shaved ice - this was 100%...

Eating Pho from a convenience store in Toronto called Dang Pho
มุมมอง 2.5Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Recently visited Dang Pho which is a convenience store/take out pho restaurant which is located by Yorkdale Mall in Toronto. They mainly offer take out options as they have a small dine-in area, but nonetheless they offer quality food. From the looks of it, it seems to be a mom/pop shop where the entire family works. Very friendly people who serve one of the best pho broths ive tasted in a long...

Solid spot. Can always count on Jin.
quality and consistency at its finest
Always drive by this place on the way to get my Lexus serviced n always wondered what it was like inside!… now I know!… thanks for this video!
I love this place. Theres also a persian restaurant called persian top meal right beside it that has the best Persian food in markham. these two places were my go to anytime i craved Persian or korean. Give them a try
@@amirtoutounian7780 I’ve never tried the Persian place before - any recommendations on what to order there?
The kebobs are all amazing i would go with the mix koobideh which is one skewer minced beef and one minced chicken. What i do is to get an order of ghormeh sabzi which is a traditional stew with beef and red beans and herbs. The koobide and rice plus the ghormeh sabzi stew on the side is the best of both world. Dont get rice with ghorme sabzi because theres enough with the kebobs.
You made me change my order at Jin Myungdong next time i go there I gotta try your favorite dishesh. Its genius with the dumplings on the side.
@@amirtoutounian7780 will get that next time - i recently ordered persian food from Naeb - also got the koobideh dish - will make sure to add the stews next time too
Naeb is alright but this persian restaurant beside jin myungdong is something else the quality of the meat and stews are all fresh.
I love this place too!
@@70V3LY best spot for Korean noodles
@@torontofood Yaa when I come I always get the bossom, jumbo dumplings + hotpot!
Cool vlog thanks for sharing. I really want to visit The Pine, food looks awesome.
Thank you Chef - love your sour dough videos - definitely watched quite a ton during the lockdown
I am from Pampanga living in Camarillo, California. I miss most of the good food there!
lots of filipino food in Cali!! but nothing beats food from back home
Looks like American Carnival Truck food. Torontonian millennials are suckers lol !

100% most of that looks disgusting...and you need to take out a 2nd mortgage to eat at the EX
Deep fried butter chicken lasagna!
I miss Shiso Tree. Loved their spaghetti dishes.
@@abcar8289 I miss their food too - fully forgot about them - I should have brought that up
very expensive 😂
$20?, the food from Tai Wong Kee at the indoor mall on Kennedy Road are cheaper than that!
@@Daniel_IFC will need to check this place out
I live in Toronto thanks for this
Very Nice Video Amazing so good
thank you!! hope to find more gelato spots
Are you sure youre not in India?
Been craving beef patties! Didn't help that both you and Johnny posted about them recently 😂
I love that donut! Haven't had it in awhile, so maybe need to go soon 😅

Watch from 7:19 the dude cooking hotdogs touchs the hot dog with his hand and by 8:24 he rubs his mouth with the same hand ..um no thanks 😢 NO Gloves
Halo-Halo Gelato!! looks so good! I wanna try this 😋😋
it was delicious - hope they get it back on their menu or put it permanently
Seems like a authentic scenario
2.50 is kinda of expensive for grocery store donut. Tims only 1.70. Is it worth twice the price?
definitely worth the price - compared to downtown donut shops the prices here are on the more affordable side
I feel like the size and quality of Timmy's has changed after they were sold. Even if they are cheaper, I don't like the taste anymore. Feels like the filling is more corn starch/artificial vs other places you can actually taste the cream and eggs 😋...or is it just me?
I doubt that! #dannydontplaythat
What do you do for work? I wish i had a coworker like that haha
i work at a bank near by - yeah unfortunately she left to another company and i havent had the same treats since lol
Canada doesn't have good Mexican food, come to Buffalo, NY and check out Manitos and Maizal true authentic mexican food
@@romankushner7571 that’s a good idea - need to make a buffalo food tour video - any other must eat spots?

Toronto does not have good tacos, furthermore had to justify paying $20 for 3/4 tacos.

yeah best boston cream donuts for sure
You should have tried Sasaki pastry .its really good .
the mochi desserts right? i think ive tried them before - but dont remember which flavours
Really impressive.
Half of that food looks disgusting and the other half looks like it’ll be good but then you will die
Indeed
Who cares
CNE sucks
Thanks for your video of the food at the ex My all time classic CNE food is tiny Tom donuts. Classic. However the food seems way too overpriced for what it is.
