I know this sounds so weak, but being a psych NP is my dream and bedside is killing me. However, I don’t feel smart enough to pass. I earned a 2.8 gpa in under, but I held a minor in Spanish in the beginning, in ROTC and single mom of two. Been a nurse now for seven years, travel nurse for five and have a couple years of psych in my work hx. Looking for support.

I have seen the commercials. This place is a scam. There is a class action lawsuit against them.

Chamberlain is exactly the same. I do recommend anyone try their NP programs.

I appreciate your video. Currently I’m enrolled at a Community College, working on my ADN. I will continue onto BSN. I’m also considering WGU, but my organization is also affiliated with Walden University so I’ll see what happens. I will definitely continue to MSN/NP in the Gerontology program because I currently work with older patients.

Walden University is a joke. Look at all of the lawsuits against them. You will not graduate unless you spend thousands more than anywhere else and take twice as long. Go ANYWHERE else other than Walden. It is a rip-off. Let April in the Finance Office know and cancel your enrollment or apply elsewhere/anywhere.

I apreciate your transparency... and I look up many jobs website, many of the staff graduated from Walden... it really doesn't matter..

I am about to finish my first quarter of clinical for Psych NP, and I have to say that it was extremely hard to find a therapist for the second quarter clinical here in NC Charlotte area, which I'm starting in 3 weeks. So far, I have a 4.0 GPA no issues with Walden. Fully online is the way to go. I have a full-time job (night shift), two kids, and a wife (I'm a male). So this is very doable.

This just happened to me after 20 consecutive months of straight As. I average 95% in the class, but I got confused on a female/repro case Week 9 in the comprehensive neuro head to toe expected per the rubric. Plus, too many tech problems with iHealth with many changes from the practice and previous iHealth cases. This is not right. This Rule has to go. I am too old and broke as a single mom with few rural opportunities for preceptorship. I am sorry it happened to you and I am glad you can move on. Me, have to go back to the old grind minus 75k in student debt

Thank you for the video. I am just beginning my PMHNP at Walden. I agree it is not a Diploma ill. I completed my MPH at UC Berkeley and the academic rigors are the same.

Do Walden graduates precept Walden students? Would you do such a thing (hypothetically, I’m in Colorado, so I’m just wondering in general).
