Big props for the objective review of the dodger/padres game my dude! As a dodger fan I really appreciated what you had to say and felt that you made some very valid points on both teams. Not too many people are honest like that 👍🏽 and truth be told the padres scare me the most in the post season and you touched on some valid points for why they could win it all!

I still think that a ballgame was affected a lot by bad officiating on both sides- example the go ahead run had actually struck out, but got called ball and it was not on the line it was all the inside the zone.

I've been a Padres fan since 1996, and although I'm not ready to pull a Dave Roberts and guarantee a WS title for us this year, the 2024 team looks better than the 2022 team. The fact that the Padres lost Blake Snell, Juan Soto, Josh Hader, and Seth Lugo, AND somehow got better is mind-boggling. I hope you're right, and that 2024 is the year when San Diego finally gets its first championship. Win it for Pete!!

Well if my Dodgers don't win it all, I'll root for the Padres to bring the trophy back to California.

Dodgers fan here. While I do believe that with our win last night, the division is ours to lose; I absolutely fear meeting you guys later on in the playoffs.

Do keep in mind had it not been for the Triple Play.... 😮if that ball had gotten past Machado, this broadcast wouldn't even exist. The choke factor was extremely high for Padres on that fateful night for the Dodgers, everyone was watching it unfold in the bottom of the ninth inning.... Not making any excuses, the Dodgers have been playing flat in the middle innings for as long as I can remember ...perhaps the whole season - two seasons or more, then again this is the Dodgers way. It's their Style. And once again the Dodgers were soooo close to being as gifted as they are in those categories, were it not for the Triple Play. As a Dodgers fan, the Padres probably would have been bowled over were at not for Shohei Ohtani. Mookie's flat. Freeman is flat. Teo is sort of planing-out, not really killing it like he was a few weeks ago. Very good points made in this podcast here, especially with regards to the extra rest that teams on the East Coast are getting right now

I don’t Think losing yersterday was a big deal, the dodgers are more worried about losing against The Padres than the Padres against the Dodgers.

If not for the Triple play in game one, Shohei might have smacked a walk off HR. Right now, Shohei is extremely clutch with players on bases.

Listen……We have the Dodgers right where we want them. When they get back from their week off bye, their timing will be off and their rust will show. Just like in recent years past, the Dodgers will fall, led by their hapless manager Dave Roberts.
