I'm a tigers fan, but this team of destiny thing is bs.....they haven't even qualified for the playoffs....and furthermore their offense in particular hitting with risp is God awful....plus absolutely no playoff experience

The 2006 Detroit Tigers who had no postseason experience, lost in the World Series to StL (who had played in the '04 WS) not b/c of their offense turning cold, but b/c their pitching issued a ton of walks. The Cards offense was only 2 hits better, but their pitching was what won it for them.
This Tigers team might not be good enough to win a championship this year, but it could make it to the ALCS...likely vs NYY who have found the Tigers to be their postseason kryptonite in the 21st century.😮

Pitching and defense wins you games in the playoffs. This team is rolling right now. Having Skubal on the mound in game 1 doesn't hurt either...
