None of these products have a true 50 year warranty. It’s 10, and after 10years there’s no labor warranty.

Two of the newer companies in this video are having formulation issues and problem. Buyers must beware of newer companies that do not have time tested formulations. It's hard because one of the companies claimed thier formulation was older but now we see that was not accurate.

Great video, I am researching all the different products and have looked online at each of these companies prior to looking age this video. Since you have installed a few of these which one would you choose for your own home if you have a beautiful log cabin (square logs with wide chinking) located in a beautiful forest in Asheville. I was leaning towards the Brava in the weathered green or the Cedur in the Shilo. Our logs have a very light brown/green/gray finish on them. I do not want a brown roof. Our windows and doors are a light sage green color. Also an recommendations for a good roofer in Asheville will be most appreciated.
Thanks for commenting!!! Brava, CeDur and DaVinci are great options for a log cabin. Our advice is to have the manufacturer send you samples so you can see their products first hand. Unfortunately, we don't know a Contractor in that area we can recommend, but the Manufacturers should have a list of their preferred installers they can provide you.

We get RFG on Trade Labor all the time. It's owed and valid. New companies often struggle to properly document and obtain comprehensive scopes of restoration. We understand your frustration. Insurance companies need to be held responsible for their widespread abuse and bad faith treatment of their insured. Sadly, it seems most politicians who can do something about it are having their re-election campaigns paid for by such companies.

If ur going to get leaks while nailing shingles over 15/30 lb felt then why would ppl still be using them? I never heard of this before.
Thanks for the comment! The video stated roofing underlayment is not waterproof and when the shingles go on they essentially ruin the water resistance of underlayment - not that using 15 & 30 lbs felt cause leaks. Once the shingles go on you're relying on them to keep the water out - not the felt.
