0:30 FLCL did, in fact, change my life. I was 12 in 2003, and it blew my mind with how funny, sad, and strange it was. It's still my favorite anime, and I think about it a lot.

BGM in the first two Stick Ups ads is "Cheerful Charlie" by Duncan Lamont for KPM.

This was the anime that got me into anime and to this day, the best anime to ever anime.

These bumps were so neat, it gave you the feeling that you were talking with someone else who had sneaked out to watch AS at 1:00am on Saturday. "FLCL is over, but there is Blue Gender, not as good as FLCL, but it does kick SOME ass."

All who snuck-in/out to watch FLCL and other anime (and Williams Street toons) to this day do t understand a damn thing they watched

Pretty based of AS to just flat out say FLCL was better than Blue Gender. I can't think of any other network that would compare shows in that way, what a cool time it was.

why was I born in the only asian country that banned Adult Swim? and why was I born 2 years after FLCL's airing? AND ONTOP OF ALL THAT, MY DAD LEFT ME BEFORE I WAS EVEN BORN!

I wish I got to see this stuff. I grew up watching Adult Swim around maybe 2013, but I don't remember seeing these types of bumpers. Then again, my memory is hazy, but I'm surprised FLCL was airing back then. All I got to saw was Robot Chicken, a few Dragon Ball episodes, & many repeats of the same Family Guy & Cleveland Show episodes. I liked Adult Swim, but I wish my parents didn't make me go to bed so early. I wanted to watch more, much more. I even saw that Space Dandy was gonna be aired once, but it aired too late for me to see.

For some strange reason when I was a kid back in the 80’s I was obsessed with these. I always had one on my bed, usually the dark blue heavy duty scent (don’t know why I was really drawn to that one despite it not smelling the best) or the light blue powder puff scent when my mom would grab the wrong one/got sick of smelling the heavy duty scent in my bedroom. When they redesigned them in the 90’s I also lost interest in them. I would on occasion buy them for grins until I couldn’t find them anymore a few years ago, I assume discontinued. Seeing these commercials again brought back some strong nostalgia for me.
