Very comprehensive tour of the skyways. I worked downtown for 20 years from ‘92 to 2011 and loved it. While I like all the growth that’s happened on the edges of downtown (North Loop, Mill District, East Town and Old Town/East Hennepin, it’s sad to see how quiet the downtown core has become. I realize this is 2021, hopefully it’s better now, but it’ll take a long time for retail to return, if it ever does.

I rewatched this video a couple of times and I just noticed that this train was a Bombardier talent flexity swift LF-70 that was a Greenline, If u guys aren’t aware the Siemens S70s are the only Metro transit LRT’s that run green line and VERY RARELY you will spot a Bombardier Green line train. Amazing video

There used to be a guy who shouted on a megaphone spreading the gospel in downtown chicago when i was a teenager. He was there every time i went down there (1-2x a week). Then one day he disappeared. Ill have to text my old classmates and let them know he moved to Minneapolis 😅

It makes you feel the Christmas atmosphere low key ❤. I never been in snow physically but I am Floridian who decided to sort ways with Florida because of the economic, weather climate, and to have more mobility. I want all seasons 😊 idc what people say. I got tired of the extreme heat, thunderstorms, hurricanes, humidity, and tropical storms. It’s only heat & rain in Florida which is depressing.

Now an empty skyway system due to the terrible crime that has infested the city. You can thank the Mayor & City Council members for it. Remember "Defund the Police"? They were all for it. The criminals were emboldened & took over.

soryguys but calgary has the biggest and the one in calgary is growing in huge strides. downtown calgary build skyscrapers like most cities build 7/11 stores. i kid i kid . each tower includeds usually 4 new plus 15 skyway bridges giant indoor tropical park state of the art shoping center which includes the longest continuous glass celing in the world,. the place is packed for many events such as Christmas paradeds and other simular events lrt stations are numerous along the transit rought and the upcoming subway system,which is largely compleated, will only make it more exsesable. i love the system and also i would enjoy visiting your fine city some day.

Walking by the rides etc. shows nothing of the fun or action. People would like to see what they do. You walk faster then anyone can see and find out whats what lol. I am glad I ordered there catalog for free.

I always love downtown when it was in the high 20s but with snow. when it's below zero all that snow and cold sucks. Feels like just waiting for a bus is an extreme sport where a person could freeze to death. 😂
