A thing about soan papdi is that it differs in texture/softness across places. If you buy it from a local shop across the street, it would be quite sticky as compared to flaky (Haldiram's) . Soan is actual pronounced as "sown".

You know Hawaii has these wasabi covered peas and wasabi covered peanuts in a lot of stores, including the big chain drug stores. Maybe it started because the higher than average Japanese population but now everyone eats and loves these type of wasabi covered snacks in Hawaii.

The name Sukhi tells me Sukhi s from the state of Punjab in India 🇮🇳 and Sukhi is the name of SUKHWINDER and some even write sukhVinder and in all probability SUKHVINDER or sukhWinder is usually a male but among Punjabis and Sikhs the same name is used for both males and females. Their names have no gender bias . Punhabis and Sikhs are the most robust , vibrant , energetic , hardworking , enterprising communities of my land , India However Mrs. / Ms./ Mr. Sukhi has got the the Vindaloo all wrong which I can see from the colour of the curry which looks more like the typical Punjabi Chicken korma / Butter Chicken / Chicken Tikka Masala . Vindaloo is not the food of Punjab and someone with a name of Sukhi is never expected to make a Vindaloo or even the perfect Vindaloo and the proof ; NO RICE !! GOD DAMN IT !!! Vindaloo is from the Indian state of Goa , so a D'Souza , Braganza , Lobo , Pinto , Pereira, Fernandez are the best to make the perfect Vindaloo but no way a Sukhi - Sukhu- Sukha . And hey the ancestors of all those D'Souzas , Pintos , Braganzas , Mirandas , Fernandez ( s) ,Gomes all came to India from Portugal and some were even sea pirates who all sobered down by the time they reached India 😀. G9ans gimme some more Portuguese Surnames please. And Sukhi- Sukhu ' Sukha please stick making BC ' CTM - TC ( TANDOORI CHICKEN ) , Rajma , Paneer variants, Saag , Dal Kadhi Pakora but never never again Vindaloo.

Hi General,I have a different request..can you react to the Indian rap metal band called Bloodywood? They release a song called Nu Delhi ..and it's tending worldwide . I think your son would love it too .

The best wasabi coated snack is now wasabi cashews. I've only seen them on Amazon and I've tried three brands... 1.) Delio (very good but pricey), 2.) NEWBAM (similar, I also think they might cost a bit less and with a nice personal thank you card from the owner in Vietnam) and 3.) Topfood (VERY bad simply because their wasabi coating flavor has been substituted for a rotten garlic flavor). If you're a true lover of wasabi coated snacks graduate up from the dried peas to cashews.

This sweet is a common sweet found in India If you love Indian sweets then eat the ones which are not readily available in sweet shops and that is the aalu halwa made by mother's hands which will give you a different pleasure 😚 And if you do not get this sweet in your country then you can search its recipe on TH-cam
