    Did you drizzle some of the lemon juice at the beginning? Salt? This is my fave condiment. Making it today. I want to get it right. Yours looks perfect.

      Hello and thank you for watching. You can add a little bit of lemon at the start if you want to, however I tend to add it at the end as it loosens the consistency of the sauce. Also, something the lemon can be very acidic, so adding it last allows much more control of the flavour.

    I just read and saw your recipe my suggestion for the rice is to give the basmati a 1-2min blanch in water drain then add to your meat perhaps saute the dug out flesh from the veg add to canned tomatoes and gently braise the zucchini instead of boiling

      Hi Christina, Good question, I haven't made it with avocado oil before. As long as it is a mild oil, it should be okay to use. If you try it, I would love to hear how you go.

    This recipe has been done to death. Hummus is always vegan. You may as well use canned peas. Anyway, good luck with that channel.

This is how my family has made this recipe for generations, and it includes what I look for at each step. Documenting the process has saved me time when friends and family ask for the recipe. They can watch and follow along step-by-step and have been very successful in reproducing a dish they have tasted in my kitchen. Just out of curiosity, have you ever made hummus from dried chickpeas?

      Hello @Tenacious, Thanks for posting your comment, this is how my family makes this dish. We also brown the meat as I've shown before stuffing the zucchini. I don't see anything wrong with adding adding onions and I never say no to garlic 😍

      Hi@@TrangNguyen-op6np, no it doesn't. I don't usually bake it if I put the in the dessert cups. However I do bake it when using the large pans. It works to create a firmer texture. Try both ways and let me know which you prefer. Cheers, Jenny
