Mini Boxwood Standards
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
A few days ago I picked up this basic boxwood shrub from a big box garden center and turned it into several mini boxwood standards. I was unsure if it would turn out the way I wanted, as this was the first time I had attempted this type of disassembly of a shrub in an attempt to make a topiary. All is well with all the mini standards, and they are getting acclimated to topiary life. I'll be hit...

Propagating Myrtle Topiaries 🌱🌳

Propagating Myrtle topiaries. I’ve had several people, on social media, ask recently about propagation of Myrtle Topiaries. I have had great success with propagating myrtles from small clippings, and hope this helps you one day grow your own topiary from scratch. #topiary #englishgardenstyle #gardenersofyoutube Brandonlarkroberts Facebook.com/Brandonlarkrobertsfb

Greenhouse Tour - Brandon Lark Roberts

I can’t believe this project is essentially complete. Of course there are still a couple things I want to do to this space, but overall it’s finished. This project started with nothing more than a quick sketch on my phone. It’s been so rewarding to see that sketch come to life. I’m so happy to have been able to share this journey with all of you and let you share my excitement. I hope you enjoy...

Have been wanting to do this! Can't wait for March/April to look for specimens. Unfortunately, only Christmas trees at Home Depot right now. Also love all your pots! Do you age them yourself? or, do you buy them like that?

Wearing a white shirt would have provided a contrast between the plant and yourself, and more easily show what you are doing

Hello Brandon. I just watched this video from 2 years ago! What a great idea. I am building my topiary collection as I am new at this, so this sounds like a fabulous idea. Did these topiaries make it? I’m interested to see how they are doing. If they failed, do you know why, and what you would do differently if you do this again? Thanks so much. Warm regards from the mountains of beautiful NC.

I did this last year and only one died which was my fault. I planted it with an annual and it didn't like the weekly fertilizer I was doing. I made more again this past week and I got 17 plants from like 6 boxwoods. I'm gonna keep doing this so one day I'll have lots of boxwood topiaries.
