I always use plumbers mate on both sides of the fitting.. Never had a problem with it.. I do maintenance on a block if flats and I am removing that type of pop up plug and replacing them with mushroom head type as the concealed types often stick shut after a while with the mushroom head ones they are far easier to remove the plug if the get stuck.

There are so few videos of wooden Bonsai pots , yours is one of the better ones by far. The pot looks amazing , I hope it last . Ive made a few pots using pine mostly, the problem arose from not using the right glue, the corners came apart , Ive now switched to titebond III which is water resistant and use maple or oak, pine started to crack even after I charred the wood. Eventually it bows. I had mine the same way. Now updated what i did was remove the riser and put adjustable legs on bottom of alex cabinets and karlby flat on top of alex cabinets to which i have to attach with corner backets to keep firmly in place. I avoided having to drill holes on top of the counter. For me this was the most best solution and if i move, i just uninstall the brackets and remove the top for easy transport. Cheers

Hi, I have a DUR193Z with the exact same mechanism. It is brand new but I have a major problem with it: The line keeps breaking (after using it for 30 seconds) right where it comes out of that whole. I then have to each time take out the head, unwind the wire 10 cm, stick it through that hole again, reassemble the head after which I can again use it for another 30 seconds to a minute. Drives me crazy. Any ideas?
