lol ... she publicly trashed the company for clout while sitting on the board (here: cset.georgetown.edu/wp-content/uploads/CSET-Decoding-Intentions.pdf). How could a CEO trust and provide information to a board that goes and publicly trashes the company? Ridiculous.
Is this the workings of the Open AI board or intrigues during a later season of Melrose Place?
Didn't knew RC was already doing GS, can you make a video comparing GS results from different softwares?
It seems that the board was courageous in doing the right thing.
Unfortunately, capitalism got in the way of people doing the right thing, as it often does.
Sam doesn't resemble a guy I would trust, rather one I would be fighting with over place in line at my favourtie ride at the Easter Show
I dont trust Sam. Something wrong about him.
is it that sly, 'I got you' attitude without even lookin at the camera?
@@kudomos925 Its like he says one thing but his face says another thing. He 100% chooses his words carefully/calculated
He just wants more power.
@@legendarynobody01 it doesn’t end well for people with that attitude
@@grantc8353 true
She is incompetent. Never should have been on the board.
Based on what? Or you just floating an opinion here like a North Korean revenge balloon?
@@kudomos925 Paul Graham released a statement confirming Sam was not fired from YC. GPT 3.5 API was released March 2022, released standalone Nov 22 and went viral. No way she only heard about it via Twitter. Doesn’t understand board roles (Sam was independent). Doesn’t understand corp structure regarding the OpenAi startup fund. Lying regarding company being destroyed being in line with board mission then saying she didn’t want the company to fall apart. She is clearly a DEI hire operating out of depth.
@@Pete_YT huh, sam altman is the one doing the dirty lying. especially about the startup fund which is completely completey sketchy af. if you actually understand the purpose
@@kudomos925 LMAO
Indeed. I mean, what competent board member goes and publicly trashes a company they're a board member of? Only someone who's clueless about the function of a board.
Don’t miss the full podcast.
If you put this with garrys mod vr, you've essentially made a working matrix prototype, then it be a matter of what can be scanned.
very clearly explained, thanks!
Topology optimization on UG NX
Its math. It was always math. Except chemistry. Idk how that works. Because if all compounds wanna turn into noble gas, then why is LiN not on pubchem? And why doesnt nitrogen bond with 5 molecules???
Thank you!
As far as I know the AVP doesn’t give us access to the tracking data, not the facial nor the 3d environments scans. So how can I develop tools for something I don’t have access to?
Queestion, just scanned something for my work. they are using recap for the pointcloud.. can i take that point cloud into capture reality? or how can i make those pointcloudt look better. thank you in advanced.. cheers
how did you create the video? any tutorials?
If you use enough buzz words and look around the room you can sound like you know what you're talking about. Good job.
I'm subscribing alright, no worries 👌🏻
Great explanation, love the video quality. Cheers
I work in construction technology and positioning systems and I feel we are right on the precipice of massive change for a massive, complex, inefficient industry. How do I help push it over the edge? Adoption of new technologies in my industry can be tricky. ROI's have to obvious for people to believe, thankfully there are outliers. Making the purchase is one small aspect of adoption. Thanks for the great piece!
Bilwal! Love your stuff man! Good luck on the channel
amazing, thanks a lot
Amazing. Quick rundown of what's going on in the field in a very professional way that people who actually use these tools will understand and care about. very useful, thank you
I was trying to find the origin and interpretation of the term -Gaussian Splatting. Does anyone know why it is called like that?
Definitely getting a like, comment, subscribe and rewatch for this one. Great video! I hadn't even heard of this yet!
shocked that jensen included manipulation in his everything to everything slide but left out navigation .. i mean thats the whole point of nvidia omniverse isaac right? right.
what about edge spatial computing. no cloud. manufacturers dont like to use cloud. first because of the latency, secondly the security. the people that own the CAD models aint having it bro. thats just the long and short of it. you can do demos.. for sure. but production apps? hmm think twice. how bout latency. if the compute is local then the latency is local. i dont mind everyone having a GPU near their body. put it in the headset even. but i need to integrate people because business processes are integrated right. but spatial business processes are real time yall. dont make me integrate computer vision with headsets going through your cloud because cloud computing costs 3x more than buying the hardware yourself. i been a cloud architect for 15 years already its like a broken record. but that real time computer vision rig is not going to integrate with my headset through the cloud. i mean thats I.T. 101 conveniently swept under the rug but you can run but you cant hide right... all this is going to be for demos unless you bring nvidia cloud to the edge. You dont want to hear it but there it is to ring your ears.
NVIDIA is doing some really clever things to solve latency, but edge compute is yet another offering they have. I agree some usecases just can’t justify it for latency or data governance reasons
Gosh this is insane progress
This dude is asmr’ing me 😌🥱😴
Lmao is that a good or bad thing
Hiding MacBook Pro behind an NVIDIA gaming laptop?
Lmao sharp eyes. Yes, the laptop company was an NVIDIA GTC sponsor.
great interview, really informtional!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Exciting times for so many industries. Great conversation.
We have some important companies building the future l.. OpenAI, Apple, meta, epic, Nvidia .. I can see the light at the end .. but I’m not sure I’m going to like the future.
I’m cautiously optimistic. It won’t all be rainbows and sunshine, but like most things we get the bad and the good together.
@@creativetechdigest come on brother the last 4 yrs haven’t been good at all. Can barely afford living
I would have rather watched an actual interview, than a PR rehash and mutual masturbation.
Oh wow, these are all really interesting applications I'd never heard of before.
Great interview... but an interview about spacial compute with 2 people filmed in video seems sort of like an oxymoron?
Thanks! Next time it needs to be volumetric avatars in the ‘omniverse’ 😝
@@creativetechdigestI mean it’s possible now, so why not ?
@@Instant_Nerffor obvious reasons

SIRUS SAYS, NIICCCE MAN!!
Is macOS good for gaussian splat?
Check out the scaniverse app for iOS - it can now splats locally and has pretty decent quality
Can you imagine what a Google Street View would be like with this technology? Being able to navigate the streets as if you were walking there, rather than just viewing a static photo as it is today.
For 4d dynamic gaussian capture, the cameras have to be in synch. Is it possible to synch the footage from a bunch of normal cameras in post-production?
What is the best gausian splatting software for using drone footage. I have the original DJI MINI so I can't plot routes. I'm assuming video to luma ai would be easiest
Also.. in a very very short time.. everyone is saying Spacial Computing now.. not VR/Ar/XR… so.. its already having an impact..
Apple is also part of the openUSD group too
yeah, TH-cam saying no got reversed very quickly. Once they saw the hype actually materializing into some real sales. It won’t be perfect right away, but it just goes to show that companies can at least change their mind. I guess Apple users is just as green as everybody else's lol
