If you follow my Instagram (which you totally should!) @LTPower95 You'll know that I have bought this super rare peice of corvette history a bit ago, the cold air intake mod. Sold! I just sold my Forced Air cold air intake system to one lucky buyer on eBay. Unfortunately, it is not for the late model bumper, so I had to let it go. But it's not all sad news, I got myself a little surprise gift b...

Welcome to part 4 of bringing this LT4 vette back to life! We'll quickly go through some of the install. There's plenty of work behind the scenes and even more cleaning. Our friend Gus received his car in good clean and running shape. In the beginning, his original problem he wanted checked was with shifting the early gears on the ZF6; not shifting well, sluggish feeling. I had a hunch it was e...

All of those performance mods and it's an automatic. Boooo
@chriscatt8771 yea i know, but hey the vette version 4l60 is very good. I mean it's what many built rock-climbing or drag built vehicles use.. a tuned version of the 4l60. Turns out my problem is because of misfires on the 6k+ range, that's why she won't shift. Easy fix. In any case, I will be moving on with a ZR1 to finish my build instead.
People that own these cars have no sense of style and stance. It's rarely done right. This car has been done right. Most unloved, unpopular, not played out cars has so much potential. Btw, cheaper too.
@mazyata9958 Totally agree. Luckily. My vette asking with a couple others, have made a little impact around the C4 community. People are looking into C4's now, more than ever

@@genekrafft9798 Agreed 👍🏻
Where did you get those seat covers?
I don’t do IG fuck meta. Keep building your IG and you’ll regret it when you get hacked and there’s no way to get your acct back
can you give us a break down of the wheels and tires specs?
@UnKnown-zo9qn I may create a video on that soon.
13:15 Having some trouble getting those timing chain seals out myself, the large one on the bottom is kind of flaring out when i hit with a hammer and screwdriver... You just had it upside-down and suspended? Just keep whacking?
@noehhh696 They're tightly on there alright. Yea, just keep it upside down and place some kind of a platform.. leave some space for the seal to pop out. I'd use a thick long screwdriver. P.S. Let me know when you get to the hub install. The way I explained it in these vids wasn't explained well. There's a much better specific bearing you can use.. a thrust bearing.
Beautiful! I love your attention to detail! Car is so clean! Im working on cleaning mine up right now.
@@andydhillon1977 Nice, I'll be keeping an eye out on your progress!
I kinda want one for my first car 😂

How does this pass smog in CA with headers and a cam?
@Long-nd8bq oh it doesn't. Gotta revert back to stock. Tuning and all. The cam itself will pass, so that helps.
It’s criminal how low views these videos are have been super helpful
@@noehhh696 Ah, thanks 😊
@@noehhh696 They're not even necessarily how-to videos, just documenting the fix, but it feels good to know it's helped.
Where did you get those seat covers?
@spaceweasel On eBay. I have the sellers info if you care to know. They're about $450 'shipped' at the time.
Instead of electric pump has anyone been able to find a sleeve for the water pump shaft like what is being used for the harmonic balancer. Electric concerns me because when it goes it doesn't give you a warning like the weep hole in the factory pump
@ryanreed6808 The Meziere HD pump is rated for about 10k more miles, so it can outlast the stock pump. And when it goes, we can simply monitor the temps. I know that I, like many other owners, are always monitoring the cars vitals like a hawk. There is no leaking on the shaft area for the water pump. Where it can leak is from the mating surfaces of the waterpump housing itself onto the block. It can also commonly leak through the bolts.. so we need to make sure that it is well sealed with it's gaskets when mounting the waterpump housing, and that the bolts also get some thread sealant to prevent a possible leak. Some '95-'96 get a leak from the pump housing at times, but I find that those vented Optisparks cans till run for a long while.. tenfold the 92-94 opti's.
why is the momo adapter on upside down?
@@brandonlarose1052 So that the opening on the bottom isn't visible.
Don't like to ride? Why did you buy her?🤔 Give it to someone who rides
@MartinSage I got it long ago 2014, at the time I was 19 and learned to ride it, and so I did. I didn't enjoy riding it as much as I thought I would is all. While owning, I've slowly restored and kept in great shape over the years. I didn't exactly get it in running condition. So it's been in good hands. Yes, I will sell it to another owner who will care for it as much as I did and ride it as much as it should be.
Beautiful, so inspiring bro Whats the build cost?
@xarrow81 Thanks. As if now, about 20k.
Man those brake and caliper setup is 11/10. Do you have any tutorials or details on how/what you did? Is there a kit for this? Also its like my dream setup man, your car as a while is next level. Congratulations on your build!!!
@safwanulferdous916 Contact me on my Instagram for more info @LTPower95 I can help get you the part numbers and tips on how to install this kit.
What size are the 12 bolts for the intake manifold?
Those Racing Harts are very reminiscent of the Need for Speed Underground 2 wheels on the 350Z cover car.
@Sloan77245 They are about the same style, yes. The C style. The ones in that cover are Ray Volk GT-C. Wonderful wheel. I actually think the Racingharts are a nicer wheel. They're easier on the eyes. I have a 1:18 scale model I will be building of my vette. I will use those Volks as the wheels since they look so similar, funny that they make a 1/18 version of those wheels. Lol.
Sounds good
You complain too much 😅
@_Gustav027_ I find many threads where lots of peeps give up on installing some of these parts. They go back to stock. But ehh, for me the main problem was just cutting up a bunch of clevis pins to use as a spacer for the master. Even if it's a centimeter off 🤏🏻 yea, it's not gonna work.
Very nice. I have a 1995 Z07 C4
If it does they should be happy to hear a bad ass car.
You say in the video you get a lot of questions about your wheels. I have a question about your wheels as well. What size are they?
@ViralStacking The wheels were planned to stay at a certain size for a while. They are 11x19 +45 305/30 and 9x19 +39 245/35 for now.
Beautiful !!
Great video! I am looking for an oil pan.
Sexy vette
How was the fitting Exotic Muscle headers ? Easy ? Bolt on ?
I had to increase the diameter for the bolt holes on the flange, for each header. I used a Milwaukee step drill to elongate the opening, like an oval. Other than that, it's pretty bolt on. But installing whatever else catback system after is another story. I would go American Racing Headers.
Wow looks awesome ufffff sounds great.
What size are those CCWs
I had these speced up to 9x19 11x19 for now.
I'm gonna get a C4 someday
That's exciting! Follow my Insta LTPower95 to see more stuff you might like.
You have a list of what you did to the engine?
Yep, in another video, I talk about it
The car is very nice and beautiful. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Stock bottom end and trans?!!! Trying to save money in the wrong places, possibly.....
At this rpm, no need for an upgraded bottom end. I would just install arp studs for the mains for a cam this big or a lil bigger. The trans could use some work though. But it's running good for now.
@@VetteWerks Good call on the trans.
Buy a 6l80E transmission. You need it.
Turns out it is the tuning. Shift points are off
@@VetteWerks OK. My vette has a shift kit. I like it. There are always options, different gears, programming the PCM or a valve body kit.
Whats going on with the two sets of rear brake calipers?
The small other smaller rear caliper is the eBrake. Pretty cool
@@VetteWerks OK. Cool. A little different, but I like them.
You and your brother live with your parents?!!! Lol 😆 🤣 😂 Save money and get your own home .

The C4 has some of the most beautiful curves!
Sweet build. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you get some haters about it being “too low” don’t listen to them. It looks cool and that’s what YOU want so just do you bud. Bad ass car. Want to do a c4 build someday.
It's not like it's bagged; lip to fender low. Even I'm not a big fan of that look. So I don't understand the hate. It also drives just fine out on the road. Thanks!

I need new hatch glass for mine 😢sun killed it ... never seen this before..it's got a rainbow 🌈 affect in the late afternoon sun light
What? No way... that's probably not a cheap part to replace
@@VetteWerks yeah 👍 I believe the glass then and possibly now is multi layered right... laminate..there is plastic in the middle and that's likely what was damaged by UV 🌞 old dude had one for $50 20 miles from me but had defogger lines 😢 Used are pretty cheap actually $50-$200 on average
Do you even drive it with ground clearance like that and thunder clearance in the rear tire I don’t know dude way too low
I do. I've driven 400 miles straight like this
I wonder why you like that intake manifold gasket? It is for the LT1 intake. Your intake manifold looks to be an LT4. Certainly that gasket covers the port opening just enough to allow for a seal but the LT4 gasket would fit better and give more sealing area. Also, that gasket intrudes a little bit into the air flow, that will not hurt top end power by a lot but every little bit adds up.
Yep, you are right! I went to my local auto parts store, and all they had was the LT1 gasket. Since most peeps don't have an LT4, i thought ehh, this is okay to post. In hindsight, I should have mentioned that i was using the LT1 version on the LT4 heads. The only thing you need to do is cut the tabs, and the gasket will fit right in. Also with a little bit of gasket maker behind the gaskets, and it will stay in place. I made sure there was absolutely no interference with the airflow from the heads and manifold. It fits in just fine. Otherwise, I would not have used them 👍🏻 good eye.
I'm no engine builder like you are 😌 but I made sure there was no interference 👍🏻
That makes good sense. Thanks for the reply. It is always good to hear new options for parts. a little extra trimming and some RTV did the trick then.
@EllweinEngines Yep, If I can remember... Hmm, I may have massaged the edges a bit, very little work at all. But I do remember setting them up in place. I was a bit surprised at how well they fit. But same with me here. every little bit adds up, and I'd just hate to cause some kind of power restriction.
Did you sale the wheels ?
Not yet, the few potential buyers are always asking for more time, but it's been awhile since I heard back.
What year is this corvette
It's a '95
I’ve a 1996 polo green LT4/6spd. It’s my second C4 resto-mod. The C4 responds better than most cars with my “shoes ‘n’ stance” build standard. The right wheels, tires, and ride height wakes the C4 aesthetically, but if you are not used to driving a lowered car, take your time and get used to it. I’ve a lot of parts and build ideas that I have put off for some time. Seeing this car and another TH-cam C4 has made me realize how much I miss mine. The C4 has a build and drive fun factor that few others can approach.
What you say is true about the c4 platform. If you're going to start with a pretty cool build, i would like to see its progress. Do you have an Instagram? I never finished my vette, I'm moving into my dream car the C4 ZR1 and finishing my ultimate build on that instead.
@@VetteWerks I think the ZR1 is an amazing restomod project. I had considered it when I bought mine about 8 years ago. The cost of building and modifying the LT5 is considerable and rather put me off. I’ve considered an approximate build cost of $25k, including ~500hp, so the LT5 would take quite a bite out of that. I don’t have much of a social media presence, but my nephew has tried to convince me it may be worthwhile to document. Others in my local Corvette community, especially the C4 fans, also like the idea. I may do this, although I’m a private person, I have always valued the camaraderie of fellow “car guys”, particularly Corvette (C4)enthusiasts. I would hope to get things rolling later this year. Would love to see what you get up to with the Z. I think the C4 is finally getting some respect, beyond just “kids” straight piping and beating the shit out of them, so disappointing to see.
@BAndersen-ee1xy The C4 community on Instagram is 👍🏻 Hmm.. the cars consist of mostly stock folks or basic small budget modification 'builds'. There are a few strong builds and currently in the works builds as well. So far, I've never experienced any negativity on that platform. But the people like to see a progress page, just like yours would be if you decide on getting started. I suggest that you do for funzies. Yep, the LT5 would cost 4x to make the same power as an LT1/4. But that mighty engine can surpass them in power. My idea is about a 730hp +/- NA LT5, it'll cost me about 50k at least on engine alone. I have more ideas. Everything will be touched up, powdercoated, repaint, slight further widened rear fenders, full interior, custom wheels again, yada-yada-yada... everything. The Werx. It's a huge expensive project, but the Z is my dream car. So you can count on me to build something truly special. Or, one can dream, at least.
Aww man I feel your pain
It's all good now 👌🏻
Simply tremendous.
How about bags for the clearance?
You can certainly create your own bag system. It will cost you quite a bit, not to mention trial and error. But for me, my vette is made to go, kill corners, and not for show. So I stick with coilovers.
I think I creamed my jeans.😮❤
