Split leg is a must have for blacksmiths - gives us access to one more place to hold things.
Indeed. Even for woodworking it just makes the apron feel a bit lighter and I like the independent movement of the leather
We recently purchased shop lights from American Green Lights and were super impressed and thankful to Jim for designing the optimal custom lighting layout for the workshop. Very high quality lights - 95 CRI !! - and awesome customer service.
Every day I walk into the shop...I am thankful. I still am so impressed.
Well done Patrick. I have really enjoyed my American Green Lights. It has been a game changer for me. Can't wait for yall to come up again and see them. It's a lot different in that shop space than when you were here a year ago!

Great work. I would suggest offering people the option to put straps on the legs to keep them from billowing out.
Thanks for the tip! It is offered, our client elected not to have leg straps,. We are a custom / bespoke operation, we offer removable or permanent. What the client wants, they get. Who better knows the toolset and workflow then the client. On occasion, we have offered our insight and suggestions to a tool placement or a pocket. I will say that I have worn both; personally, I prefer not to have the leg straps. To me, it just feels freer....fredom
I think this is a great idea, showing your work that you created for others, with explanation, will help others to envision theirs. I have been contemplating buying one for sometime but concerned I might not get it just right. So seeing other designs and the explanation of your work is awesome. Thank you!
Jon, thank you for understanding our goal. The concept of a custom/bespoke leather apron is not the easiest to communicate. We've been doing this on our IG account for months and it a hit.

Hello Bruce. After we started making our aprons and purses, we tried many cleaners and conditioners. We then narrowed down the list to Chamberlains Leather Milk. Ultimately, it is your choice, your leather. To answer your question, yes you can

Scratches are in the hide when the cow is in the pasture. Also tic bites and brands
