Recently i bought samsung a14 and i have never had a worse phone. lagging in google and gallery. I am starting to have trust issues with phones. Although this was my fisrt buy of other brand than huawei/honor. I never had a problem with those. Last one lasted 3 years but broke my screen.. my fault. I want to give this one a try but I want to knonw if the phone is still as good after months of use.

    • @HandyTechReviewsHD
      @HandyTechReviewsHD 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry for such a late reply but I wanted to make sure that I give you a proper answer with some research behind it. Having spent time with a Store display Galaxy A14 and time with an actual owner of the phone. These are the takeaways I have. 1. Being the entry level model for Samsung, you will really be frustrated as not only are the chips slow but the RAM is not enough. Most A14s come with 4GB of RAM which sadly is not enough to browse the internet and have apps running in the background and still be smooth. It struggles with a lot of what people enjoy doing with their phones. TikTok scrolling is slow after some time The same with Meta App and X app. Even with the integration with Instagram, your uploads still come out looking subpar. This is truly the light user smartphone. If you are looking at gaming, heavy social media, editing reels and other media. I would not suggest the A14 for long term use. It’s not all bad, the cameras are good for what the phone is, the screen is good, great battery life. But would buy the A14 for my Grandma for just WhatsApp and calls If you are looking to buy a phone and you wanna stick to Honor I suggest the Honor 90 or 90 Pro They will go the distance The Xiaomi 13 series is also a good buy The Vivo V29 series is also a solid choice Hopefully this helps And again sorry it’s soo late, wanted to give you advice based on experience

    I've had mine for 2 months. Got it after a long line of iPhones and 2 Samsung flagships and a Flip 4. My Mate X3 is the most exciting phone I've ever owned and as far as apps etc goes, I managed to successfully incorporate it into my Apple ecosystem by syncing calendar, contacts, photos and email with my Mac Mini, Macbook and iPad.

      Taking my time and assessing the phone fully. I did conclude that it’s number 2 foldables to come out in 2023. Number 1 being the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. People don’t want to accept that Huawei is never going back to Google. It’s Android, iOS and HarmonyOS which brings a nice new dynamic to the smartphone world. You made a great choice, I would spend that money to get it. One of the best tech to come out this year. I’m happy there are people like you out here who see beyond Google and see that it’s a great smartphone regardless. We appreciate consumer like you. 👊🏾👍🏾

    Nothing beats the vivo fold, its the king of all foldables, simply its the biggest outer/inner screens ever yet. German branding camera lenses and a Beast hardware. Not to forget it has google services 😏 (are you listening huawei fans?!). We need competitors with 9" inches inner screen, we need bigger wider phones. Samsung and Huawei folds are useless, an ugly tv remote control design for samsung and a non google services for huawei. I don't want anyone to tell me to use huawei app store, simply no google then the phone useless.

    • @HandyTechReviewsHD
      @HandyTechReviewsHD 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And I respect your opinion But it doesn’t change the fact that everyone has a preference. Some people don’t like the boxy front cover screen. And yes it’s got great hardware but it’s also not perfect. It can’t shoot 4K video with its front cameras, it doesn’t have an IP Rating. It doesn’t go up to 1TB of storage and it’s still using older USB-C 2.0 tech. And doesn’t have DisplayPort through that USB-C port. The vivo is also a 21:9 aspect ration so it’s also a tall display so I don’t get your argument there. The true box foldable is the Pixel Fold. The Samsung and Huawei may be useless to you but to someone else it’s peak foldable engineering. Each to his own. Make an argument for the Vivo Fold without bashing any other brand.

    • @hazemfive
      @hazemfive 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@HandyTechReviewsHD I had samsung zf2 for a year and upgraded to vivo x fold csuse its wider and taller. My argument is the taller/wider is more perfect and more demanded in the world. Watched lots of global TH-camrs past years and they agree my point. Pixl fold too short and fat. Samsung to narrow and crease still exist. Huawei no google. Before I bought vivo, I went to all foldables like Xiaomi, oppo, honor ...etc, Vivo were the best from many aspects. Yes, Im upset in my message cause we consumers pay lot of $$$ not getting things we wanted in return, manufacturers dont listen to us, so I hate them, this goes to apple, samsung, huawei. Manufacturers care only for their revenues and profits, dont care about us (THE CONSUMERS). As example: For 5 years arrow samsung still giving us the same design of tv remote control, creae still exist, camera not as S series specs, no 66-80w fast charging, while Chinese way a head of that. Huawei ceo should work things out with the new management in the white house (after trump left years ago) to re bring google to phones but he too lazy to do that. Dear, you need to accept all opinion, and when I said manufacturers are useless I meant that. I didn't attacked any human being.

    • @HandyTechReviewsHD
      @HandyTechReviewsHD 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hazemfive I get your argument, it’s tough to be hit with the take it or leave it phone designs that we’ve been getting. There isn’t a lot of variety and that’s because a lot of people go and buy those phones. And I agree we need more design variety, but if history proves anything. A lot of consumers shy away from buying phones with unique designs. Proof is how LG died out and they were the ones pushing design. Nokia used to push design as well. They all ended up folding and joining the band wagon. Huawei doesn’t want to go back to android because they have invested a lot of money into the Harmony OS and they won’t waste that. They will get Google services but as a 3rd party and not a primary android company. And Huawei is a tech giant in China so guys like Vivo, Oppo and Honor will follow suit and start using Harmony OS, forcing Google to fold and give them android Services. So we may have iOS, Android and HarmonyOS And look how Huawei is using Silicon Carbon battery instead of Lithium Ion. Samsung is the number 1 supplier of mobile phone screens. The consumers share part of the blame because they continue to buy these phones with small updates. Apple solidly sells over 200 million phones a year. Samsung is also moving hundreds of millions of phones a year. I know you aren’t insulting any human, the big 3 are suppressing innovation in design and they use new Operating system features to seem like they did a lot. So yeah I agree with you Maybe just not the execution of it all

      @HandyTechReviewsHD ปีที่แล้ว

      Media, web browsing and social is mostly based on screen and processor. With the A73 you are losing out on the HDR10+ certification which equals better and brighter colours. Also the A54 has a brighter screen which is better for outdoor usage. But the A73 isn’t a slouch either. The screen is crisp because it’s a Super AMOLED screen. 20:9 aspect ratio for a wider view on the video. Apart from that the main features are the same. A73 has 4 cameras instead of 3. But the 3 are also solid. So it’s basically your preference but for me I’m a fan of the A73. It’s one of those special moments.

      @@HandyTechReviewsHD if i keep Expandable storage aside, is iqoo 9/9Se worth buying ? Should I choose Iqoo 9 over A73 ?? At Offline store A73 price is 43-45k Iqoo 9's price is 40k on Flipkart My main concern are Expandable (optional), camera/processor & stock Android/ad free Android

    • @HandyTechReviewsHD
      @HandyTechReviewsHD ปีที่แล้ว

      The IQOO 9 is a fantastic option. It is better than the A73, packing a Snapdragon 888+ chip (always keep in mind that this chipset came with some overheating problems). It was built around gaming more than camera but the camera is great. It takes amazing photos and has great video capabilities. It comes with Gimbal Stabilization in the main camera. You would have to buy the 256GB Storage and 12GB RAM because there is no expandable storage. The software experience is also simple and straight forward. You will be happy with it.

      @@HandyTechReviewsHD so You're suggesting iqoo 9 over a73, see a73 has everything, Expandable memory, samsung brand name, snapdragon processor, good camera etc Im a poxo x3 user, Expandable memory to excellent camera, it has everything, and I didn't found A73 similar to poco x3, specially in case of camera quality, im using 512gb in poco, but this pione is too old now, i wanna buya similar phone, only Samsung is providing Expandable memory with good Camera, still im too much confused this time to buy a phone, thats why is asked u, if u think a73 will be similar to my poco x3, then surely i'll go with a73, i hope a73's camera will get improved with software updates

    • @HandyTechReviewsHD
      @HandyTechReviewsHD ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely, the iQOO 9 is a superior smartphone. Its got flagship level specs and pulls its weight. The Poco X3 was a great phone and has great power. The reason it feels old is the lack of long term software support. I can see why you arent going for the Poco X5 Pro because they took away the expandable storage, and thats the value Samsung is using to get the sales. Now looking at your needs, the A73 is a great phone, the camera has improved since launch with the latest OneUI update. And its going to be support with Major OS Updates til 2026. So thats 4 Major updates and 5 years of security updates. The Chipset is old but its enduring, it is a Snapdragon after all. The iQOO may have a problematic Snapdragon chip but its a flagship chip with lots of power. It just cant manage the power to heat ratio very well. Which can be fixed with software updates to manage RAM and other functions better. So depending on what you are going to do with the phone, ie. gaming, 4k video and the likes. Then you need to consider your phone carefully. Also just some useless Information, The Samsung A73 benchmarks better than the Samsung S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra (Exynos Editions) Also try check for accessories like USB-C MicroSD Readers

    • @HandyTechReviewsHD
      @HandyTechReviewsHD ปีที่แล้ว

      They definitely threw a lot of specs at this phone. I feel the cohesion between hardware and software is where they let themselves down. The camera has a processor but can’t shoot 4K 60fps and the front camera is limited to 1080p. The optimisations they could’ve done would’ve made this a better phone. This phone is priced close to others like the S22 and other baseline flagships. So I totally get your gripe with it and it’s valid.

    it will never be better than the a73 it will never surpass the a73 it can never replace the a73 the a73 is better in all categories than the a53 i own the a73 if your planning to buy the a53 dont its a waste of your money buy the a52s because its faster stronger and has the same processor of the a73

      A man who understands the dynamics of these phones. I put the A52s over the A53 and the A54 in my opinion. But you are right, the A73 is the best A-series phone Samsung will ever release. They scrapped the A74 because it was going to make the S23 redundant. It was going to be that good. You snatched yourself a great Premium Mid Spec.

      With the restrictions on Huawei. The are forced to use older hardware on their phones. So they don’t have the latest modem. And also this is a low end mid spec device. The Nova 10 Pro is the better choice in this range.

      Hi Mian Yes, the data rate is slow. The phone is limited to 4G mobile network so you won’t get amazing speeds. But also remember that in some areas the 4G is better and more stable and other areas it’s not great at all. It’s got Dual band WiFi which is good, how fast is your WiFi speed? And how far are you when it disconnects?
