I've had mine for 2 months. Got it after a long line of iPhones and 2 Samsung flagships and a Flip 4. My Mate X3 is the most exciting phone I've ever owned and as far as apps etc goes, I managed to successfully incorporate it into my Apple ecosystem by syncing calendar, contacts, photos and email with my Mac Mini, Macbook and iPad.

Taking my time and assessing the phone fully. I did conclude that it’s number 2 foldables to come out in 2023. Number 1 being the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. People don’t want to accept that Huawei is never going back to Google. It’s Android, iOS and HarmonyOS which brings a nice new dynamic to the smartphone world.
You made a great choice, I would spend that money to get it. One of the best tech to come out this year.
I’m happy there are people like you out here who see beyond Google and see that it’s a great smartphone regardless.
We appreciate consumer like you. 👊🏾👍🏾

I know right, keep thinking it’s perfect, just missing a couple of features.
Seeing the news lately I’m also excited for the OnePlus Open foldable phone.
It’s turning out to be a beast.

Now that was innovative, with the single folding screen. As scary as it was because of fear of dropping it. It was my favourite implementation of the Fold.

@@HandyTechReviewsHD i have an XS2 using with a pouch when outside..planning to get an X3 but price is very high.
X5 though, is already planning for launch. They are still the best when it comes to foldables but Samsung fold have the best software by far

Nothing beats the vivo fold, its the king of all foldables, simply its the biggest outer/inner screens ever yet. German branding camera lenses and a Beast hardware.
Not to forget it has google services 😏 (are you listening huawei fans?!).
We need competitors with 9" inches inner screen, we need bigger wider phones.
Samsung and Huawei folds are useless, an ugly tv remote control design for samsung and a non google services for huawei. I don't want anyone to tell me to use huawei app store, simply no google then the phone useless.

      And I respect your opinion
But it doesn’t change the fact that everyone has a preference. Some people don’t like the boxy front cover screen.
And yes it’s got great hardware but it’s also not perfect.
It can’t shoot 4K video with its front cameras, it doesn’t have an IP Rating.
It doesn’t go up to 1TB of storage and it’s still using older USB-C 2.0 tech. And doesn’t have DisplayPort through that USB-C port.
The vivo is also a 21:9 aspect ration so it’s also a tall display so I don’t get your argument there. The true box foldable is the Pixel Fold.
The Samsung and Huawei may be useless to you but to someone else it’s peak foldable engineering. Each to his own. Make an argument for the Vivo Fold without bashing any other brand.

@@HandyTechReviewsHD I had samsung zf2 for a year and upgraded to vivo x fold csuse its wider and taller.
My argument is the taller/wider is more perfect and more demanded in the world.
Watched lots of global TH-camrs past years and they agree my point.
Pixl fold too short and fat.
Samsung to narrow and crease still exist.
      Huawei no google.
Before I bought vivo, I went to all foldables like Xiaomi, oppo, honor ...etc, Vivo were the best from many aspects.
Yes, Im upset in my message cause we consumers pay lot of $$$ not getting things we wanted in return, manufacturers dont listen to us, so I hate them, this goes to apple, samsung, huawei.
Manufacturers care only for their revenues and profits, dont care about us (THE CONSUMERS).
      As example:
For 5 years arrow samsung still giving us the same design of tv remote control, creae still exist, camera not as S series specs, no 66-80w fast charging, while Chinese way a head of that.
Huawei ceo should work things out with the new management in the white house (after trump left years ago) to re bring google to phones but he too lazy to do that.
Dear, you need to accept all opinion, and when I said manufacturers are useless I meant that.
I didn't attacked any human being.

@@hazemfive I get your argument, it’s tough to be hit with the take it or leave it phone designs that we’ve been getting. There isn’t a lot of variety and that’s because a lot of people go and buy those phones.
And I agree we need more design variety, but if history proves anything. A lot of consumers shy away from buying phones with unique designs.
Proof is how LG died out and they were the ones pushing design. Nokia used to push design as well. They all ended up folding and joining the band wagon.
Huawei doesn’t want to go back to android because they have invested a lot of money into the Harmony OS and they won’t waste that. They will get Google services but as a 3rd party and not a primary android company.
And Huawei is a tech giant in China so guys like Vivo, Oppo and Honor will follow suit and start using Harmony OS, forcing Google to fold and give them android Services.
So we may have iOS, Android and HarmonyOS
And look how Huawei is using Silicon Carbon battery instead of Lithium Ion. Samsung is the number 1 supplier of mobile phone screens.
The consumers share part of the blame because they continue to buy these phones with small updates. Apple solidly sells over 200 million phones a year. Samsung is also moving hundreds of millions of phones a year.
I know you aren’t insulting any human, the big 3 are suppressing innovation in design and they use new Operating system features to seem like they did a lot.
      So yeah
      I agree with you
Maybe just not the execution of it all

@@hazemfive I’m also hoping OnePlus pushes the boundaries a bit. We need something to shake up the industry. It’s been a while since that happened.
