There are no dumb questions Huawei uses an app called Gbox And GBox will allow you to side load all Google Apps Including TH-cam, Gmail, Google Suite and Google Search So you are able to get those apps You wont be able to use Google Maps because they dont have access to Google Location Services and Google Services.
The camera quality is way better than the samsung Galaxy cameras. I don't like the fact that it lacks Google services. And an earphone port.

You have Waze which is popular or you can use HERE WeGo which Huawei used at some point
