I know this is months old but I was pulling my hair out when you were setting up the assemblers for the rotors. The reason why the elevator lift wasn't snapping to the correct point on the screw line was because you didn't reset the last belt on the line. You moved the splitter one over as it was misaligned but that meant the last belt was then clipping through the splitter.

if you select a powerpole to build, and left click an existing powerline, it's going to allow you to place that power pole in between

I wanna get into this game, but I've got so many games i'm into right now lol. I do like this game along with Planet Crafter. The hard part on this is placement for me.

Great series mate. another good mod to try for a vanilla run through is the random recipes. Makes everything new again in the original game.

In your Hub, each Tier of unlocks has a scrollbar below the top icons, Check it out :) Compact biomass was an excellent choice. It produces more power compared to normal biomass. And a tip/spoiler: Every tier will unlock buildings/recipes that improve/alter your primary production (simple ore to ingots). So, leave lots, lots, lots of space (or build dedicated floors) for this process (ore to ingots). It will help you to NOT demolish all the factory in order to make room for the new production chains with the new recipes. Build your biomass energy factory as soon as possible. And always be ready to handle all byproducts. SF+ is notorious for it's byproducts. Also, the in-game wiki is excellent for ratios and other info on what you have unlocked and what is used where. Hit ( L ) and dont forget to check the various tabs Good work and keep it up.

For the sorter machine, the middle output always have crush stone, (the right one will have the top part in the recipe menu, and the left one will have the bottom part of the menu) so you don't have to test one by one belt. It also work for another machine the text that in the (...)

great video! just FYI, satisfactory plus already gives you more inventory slots, so I dont actually think the extra inventory mod is necessary. also, the daylight mod obviously unbalances solar panels, so I wouldnt go too overboard with them if you get there. one tip for early power, since the burners have a belt input, I like to make a biomass plant that processes everything to solid fuel and pipes them into 24 burners. 24 because there are 24 slots in a container, and the more burners you have, the slower they run. but you are almost to better biomass anyway so might not be worth it at this point. better biomass is your first fully automated power. EDIT: Lead is part of rubyte. so when you sort the rubyte, you get crushed tin, crushed lead and stone. you then use the smelters to make lead ingots, then constructor to make lead plates.

Only thing i don't like about the complexity is the fact that the map is not designed for it. There are not enough areas to actually build without building a sky factory.

Yes, you can use Satisfactory Calculator for SF+. On the planner page, if you go to the 'Options' tab you can select under the Mods dropdown the SF+ mod. Then you can add items from SF+ to the 'Output' tab and it'll calculate what you need. As for how accurate it is, no telling.

Nice start Some hint for you, the crusher/Sorter take aroud 6x2 foundations and both have crushed stone for by-product Then you find dirt, mine 200 of it so you can research the ability to search for it later (it exist 3 different dirt) you need it for farming and power module later If you hit Esc then you chose your alt.production in the MAM you reject the 3 chose and get back the hard-drive and can research it again Wind power a nice bonus to the power net Good luck with S+

I think someone said it last video, but what's really nice is new machines like the crushers can be daisy chained for power. Makes running wires a lot neater.

So you don't actually need to use both outputs on the modular miner once one of them fills up it will just double the output for the other. Can save you some beltwork. Also, to explain the tin ingots in the hub sorting milestone, it's unlocking an alternate recipe.

great video! cant wait for 1.0 and a playthrough of satisfactory plus after that! my first build in a sat plus playthrough is usually a biomass processing power plant. 2 containers, for leaves and wood, 5 constructors, to process it all into solid biobuel and 24 biomass burners fed with belts, and an overflow that I can choose to feed back into the system. so if my power trips I feed the overflow back into the system and restart power and then go to harvest more. EDIT: you didnt circle back around to it so I wanted to explain the extra tin recipe you unlock with sorting. when you start you are taking the ore and crushing it and throwing it in a smelter, the recipe is sloppy tin (or iron or copper). sorting lets you refine the process more. the first sorting you get is rubyte, so you take the rubyte, crush it into crushed rubyte, then feed it into a sorter, the sorter separates the rubyte into tin, lead and more stone. this comes out as crushed tin and crushed lead, so you cant use the sloppy recipe anymore, you have a new recipe which uses the sorted ore. this new recipe actually gives you better yield, so instead of 30>30 for the sloppy recipe, you get 30>45. so in addition to getting the lead, you also increase your tin production. hope this helps!

The screws... OMFG the screws. Produce more than you think you'll need. It still won't be enough. Here's something I wish I knew when starting this: the Storage Network is freaking amazing, once you figure it out. I think it's a little buggy but once you get it working you will be so happy. The scale the entire Plus mod adds makes the amount of back-and-forth you have to do scale up too. If you've played Factorio, you know how amazing it feels to finally have logistic bots bringing you items and you no longer have to run around as much. This one is even better. It works in a very similar way and it's more clunky but there's no actual bots to wait for. Once you unlock the 'push' and 'pull' feature, it will just magically teleport items into your inventory... and I'm not sure if there's a limit but the range is really big. Anyway, I highly recommend you prioritize this in the M.A.M. and make your entire playthrough so much more enjoyable. I wish I had spent the extra time setting it up much earlier on. The amount of time I spent travelling around for resources when building my slug factory was enough to drive me insane. If only I had my inventory constantly topped up as I worked! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Looks like a fun time. Very creative! Would be cool to add a hidden shortcut that cuts like 3 seconds off your time just to catch up. :)

One thing you seem to have missed in this video, there are so many milestones they don't actually fit on the one page, and you actually have to scroll through them. Also a lot of people get sucked into the complexity and forget their hard drives, in particular early you want compacted biofuel which when you automate power lets you get way more power from the same nodes.

23:53 that's a bug, you have 3 portable miner and only deploy 2 cause another one you deploy not on the textnode. You need to look down so you didn't throw the miner in the sky, it only hapen in this mod cause it's stackable. First time I realized I create 10 portable miner and only mining 4/800ore

I just found your channel the other day and am still catching up on your Satisfactory series. The only other game I actually play anymore is FS22. So, you may be my new favorite gaming channel. I watch a lot of TotalXClips, Bitz, Daggerwin, and Chainsaw100. Watching the last two can help with getting around FS22.

Look at that....997 subscribers. You should go over 1000 by the end of the week. That weight up and down thing is just so you can better place the weight when you want to detach it for whatever reason. I think. I can't think of any other reason. I don't remember for sure, but check upstairs in the barn. I think there might be a sleep trigger up there. Though maybe not cause it shouldn't have let you build another if there is one. I might be thinking about a mod. Did you see on the minimap bottom left corner it gives you bearings? Or headings? Whichever. I try to keep those 90, 180, 270, 360 degrees. E, S, W, N. Just easier to work with. There are also grid numbers. Those sync with width of harvest headers and fertilzers and other things. I don't really bother with that unless doing plowing to create new fields. Even then just barely look at those numbers. FYI, if you plow that counts as weeding. If you don't plow you need to run a cultivator but there are cultiplows that do both and cover you for weeding too. Looking forward to you finding the straps to tie down loads...lol Good stuff.

Be aware of the tiby slider bar under your Milestones. Yes there are even more en each tier than will fit on the screen ^^ Have fun

Forget everything you know from vanilla game. Satisfactory plus plays differently, you need different mentality in order to progress. You will need to automate everything, literally, so plan big and leave lots of space between stages (for example ore to ingots). I would suggest to have one floor per stage (ingot production, assemblers, etc) when you start your base. You will unlock many buildings that will change/improve/alter your production chains. Everything you;ll unlock production-wise, comes with byproducts. So be ready to handle those. In the HUB, the tiers have a scrollbar below them, in case you missed it. All new buildings can be daisy-chained. Good luck in your playthrough.

When you start building on foundations, it may be nice to remember that each basic ore goes into a sorter for additional components, so save room for them so you don't have to tear down your whole factory to upgrade it.

Just a tip for your future power need. You will come over Windmills. They are a bit weird, they are trying to "Simulate" variable wind, so they go up and down in power production. What you need to know, is that your biomass burners, they are "secondary" when it comes to power production, and windmill will be "primary". So if the wind is at a given time more productive than needed power from your base, the biomass burners will shut down, and only go online when the wind has died down. It will help a lot to get 10 windmills going as fast as possible :) Looking forward to your next episode !
