for anybody still rune-collecting on their 6th alt, this is a good video. i'd add that it was faster (for me) to die twice in the cave than spend all the time clearing through. the GY is so close it's essentially right there. mounted with monkey on, rode through the entrance (get dismounted once 'indoors'), weave right, die in the tunnel, corpse-run back through, die at base of platform, corpse-run to being uptop platform standing at tablet, rez, freezetrap mob, loot quest, hearth.

I feel it is a bug. basic ability should be any attack imo and they should fix it.

i kill more than 100 creatures lvl50 to learn dash 3 my wolf and nothing yet.Its bugged?

Right at the point where you supposed to feign death, there's one big Slime waiting for me. It's not working.

Should've mentioned that if you pull an archer it will screw your run because they will daze you on your cheetah and you wont be able to jump

How do you get training points for the level 50 cat?

Loving the weakaura so far. Question: how do you change the color of the cast bar? I've been messing with the settings but cant figure it out.

I wanted to mention for those having difficulty with this tame, that there is a slightly easier way to do this if you are already doing the raid. Even if you don't want to bother the other guildies with a request to stop and tame a wind serpent like I did, there is a Frostwing Sapper within a group of mobs after the final boss, which (at least in my raids) we don't bother to kill since there's no need. So, right after the raid was done, I went back into the raid, back to the Hakkar location and just walked up and tamed him! No respeccing, no need for invis.. just a standard tame. Not sure if the mobs here are randomized or not but check it out on your next raid and maybe just ask the raid not to kill those final mobs. I had to tame a Hakari Sapper in order to get close enough to the Frostwing, but there was no drama.

new hunter, this is NOT easy (uldaman). I always get 1 of the caster troggs that seems to always get over to me by walking that ledge, he usually doesnt stick with the back and forth of the big group because he stops to cast and when I weave left and right. First time doing it and I've had like 5 fails in a row

Dont use freez trap, but ice trap. It also proc TNT, but then the melee will see the ground effects better :D Lets be hunters not huntards

WeakAura only works on english client due to fixed english spell/aura names instead of spell ID's.

Please for the love of your raid members: Do not use Frost Trap. Use Freezing Trap instead. I have heard so many people complain about not beeing able to see because of the huge Frost Trap under the boss. Any place Frost Trap might be useful is on Shade of Eranikus. Also haven't really seen any rHunter guides mention this...

The flat 50% dmg nerf in PvP was stupid beyond reason. This is another proof they don't test things before releasing things. You start with 10-25%, not 50%. 2-3 classes were overperforming but this nerf hurt the "owned classes" even more. If 1 shot is too extreme, so is 3 mins (Retail) fights. So go with something in between. They did something simular in P1 and was not liked so it looks as usual they don't learn from earlier misstakes.

Rofl, this rotation..and its still doing 25% less dps than 2 button melee hunter..

Seems like alot of guilds are kind of getting broken up right now.. Mine stopped doing raids each week.

rotation: play melee pve, spam disarm and mana drain in pvp hehe :D

simple macro for aimshot: #showtooltip /stopcasting /cast aimed shot stopcasting to stop the cast of aimshot so you don't have to move.

Hey. Thanks for the video. Why in your weak aura you have conclusive shot or serpent but not traps since they are more important in rotation (and have CD)

WoWHead suggest they may still available in Azshara in the Bay of Storms but does not give more info or if this is just a Classic rather than SOD thing as could of meant outside of the time frame or outside of the season 🥴

Nice to afk farm. I swapped out Bestial Wrath for 1 more point in MM to get Aimed shot, especially now with the instant cast it seems a lot better than the sporadic pet buff.

I failed the tame a couple of times with 1s left, I would highly suggest buying Magic Dust from the AH as it will sleep the Serpent for 30 seconds, making the tame perfectly safe.

I just got it and learned that dual wield melee hunters (i am one) have to pick between trap launcher and dual wield spec rune. Arg. 😑

any log out skip for ZF to get out easily?

you can get the arcanite dragonling for buffing corehound dps :)

I did it as marksman 31 and bm 10 for Stam and armor. Mixing in aimed shots, having true shot aura, and bm glove rune. Doubled kill speed for me. Same pet core hound. Got 4 airs in 2 hours after I made the change.

You can move talents out of armor because the mobs do nature dam which ignores armor. Cat is a great pet also because claw procs focus fire & physical hits more consistently than spells (E.g. Core Hound breath)

What serpent is best ? Dosent Azzere do mist dmg?

you can also grab a "warmonger" from the ah for 3% more hit, pretty cheap and helps a bit

too bad the serpent does not spawn at this location for me and invisibility potion doesnt do shit in the upper ring for me

when i wvrn sting this pet it breaks teh trap dmg after and then it kills me in 4 hits before the tame beast finishes anyone else?
