new hunter, this is NOT easy (uldaman). I always get 1 of the caster troggs that seems to always get over to me by walking that ledge, he usually doesnt stick with the back and forth of the big group because he stops to cast and when I weave left and right. First time doing it and I've had like 5 fails in a row
side note, somehow if the pet is dead and is still there. it still gets exp (I know from using ulda to power level from 40 to 44 with my pet dead getting exp)
Yeah so ridiculous that leveling my pet from 40 to 50 was infinitely harder than leveling myself or my alt to 50. I boosted it to 48 in Uldaman like you, and then took it the last two levels doing BRD arena spam for my cloak and belt. If you cancel eyes of the beast before he dies, you can simply call him back rather than revive him.
Yep Mike hits the big reason why dungeon farming is the best way to level a pet. It's purely from kills. So yes killing while you queat will give your pet xp but a low level pet wouldn't level quickly in level 50 incursions and would aggro things from a longer range.
If ranged hunter is higher in dps then people will only want ranged. Please enlighten me oh wise one. How would you perfectly balance a class starting day 1 on a phase all the way to the end of the phase. Do you understand how difficult that is with the amount of abilities and play styles we have? Behind EVERY change and alteration, there is some sweat finding a way to do something that blizzard never intended. People bitch about things that aren't even possible. Here's a thought, bring the player and not the class. We are full cleared and we aren't even using the best dps classes.
Melee is better as pure dps, but ranged MM spec is giving 150 melee AP and 300 ranged AP for your group. Don't forget P3 is a melee phase, so both spec are viable.
People used this method for more than 10 years and you can find multiple videos as frost mages on previous versions. This "bug" is still here. You don't risk anything since they didn't patched this since 10 years.

Your pet gets XP even if its dead , allowing you to run lone wolf and really accelerating this process.

Should've mentioned that if you pull an archer it will screw your run because they will daze you on your cheetah and you wont be able to jump

Doesnt work for me. Get dazed in ranged, and end off dropping down, and need to start all over. Not as easy at it seems in the video

As a skinner I just go to my skinning farming areas and dot this. It's a win win.
Tried with ZF but tthese trolls are immidiately stunning me right after I use a grave. What am I doing wrong?
Did you step up on the the platform to activate the boss? He will say a line of text. The mobs should immediately run to him if he's active

Pets only get exp for kills, not quests

An incursion kill group is relatively fast and you get rep, gold and pet xp all at the same time.
does the pet still gain loyality if its happiness is red/yellow?
Red I don't think it does. When you hover it it should actually tell you.
Edit. Confirmed red = LOSING loyalty
You can let your pet die and he will get xp
I like that you know alot but don't seem elitist. Im trying to enjoy SOD as my hunter but there are so many elitists.
