this game really has potential
INCREDIBLE PROJECT BROOOO
cool channel, reminds me of mine :) love processing!
thanks mate im releasing a game oi nsteam with zero wishlists, some great advice there man thank you.
do you know any ways to get this sort of thing written in processing implemented within a java app?
😢
Beautiful video, thanks for sharing, never give up and always keep pushing forwards! Next time build up that wish lists of future games, so you are more successful, so you can have more time, so you can continue pursuing what you truly love :)
Thank you, appreciate it!
i am thinking to build a sampler box with Raspberry Pi zero , but i'm not sure it will works fine... it is fast in response? Or do you have latency problem?
congrats bro! Keep on developing!
Thank you!
Wishlist doesn't effect steam algorithims but it DOES effect sales. If 10-20% of your steam wishlist buy your game on release, then wishlist numbers do matter. Not to mention any discounts goes straight to email and notification bell on steam too. Also the wishlists are a good indicator of general awareness of your game. 10k wishlists + good numbers on social media is a good indicator that your not releasing into the void. So its certainly not nothing. More then that its also pshycology. People want to play a game other people are playing so if you have those positive reviews flowing in from day one, it gives other buyers improved confidence in their purchase decision. Definitely don't discount marketing and wishlists. Theres a reason indie devs and publishers harp on it so much
Yeah you're 100% right, wishlists are still a hugely important marketing tool. I think I wasn't clear enough on this point in the video. I was more trying to say that the wishlists don't directly affect the steam algorithms. Obviously they end up affecting the algorithm, because the more interest a game has at launch through wishlists will generate visibility and hype, but its not a perfect correlation for sales, which is sort of what I had heard in the past from many other indie devs. I guess my point was supposed to be more along the lines of the wishlists are not the be all end all. Theoretically if you were able to create your own mailing list and send out the same emails as steam wishlists, this would be equally as effective. Obviously in reality this is much harder, as people are much more likely to wishlist your game than sign up for a random email list. I found it interesting watching the video directly from steam themselves as I felt it was very transparent to their processes in a way that I'd never heard from any other indie devs before!
congrats on making them money on steam. I also plan to put my game out there as well and I was a bit afraid my game will never be even seen by customers as it will get swallowed by other big games. but I'm more hopeful now.
Check out Chris Zukowski materials, and check games similar to yours (with similar quality and amount of content) how well they're doing. Numbers of reviews often correlate with the sales.
Good luck!! It's easy to get put off, but you'll never know until you publish something :)
Nice!
It can Support Raspberry Pi 5 ?
This video's s AWESOME
well done, looks amazing
It's even more beautiful with the visual effects. Well done
This is genius. I also have a nanokey laying around so I'll have to try a variation of this.
Wow!
Damn that shit was hard
YESSSSS
It makes sense if this game was play with how many people but when it's each player turn everyone turns around cover there eyes and the next person tap the next player turn and so one person rotate next person. So only one person can see the board at a time and if anyone cheats they look more sus over all
<3
I would say playing like the game clue, would be the sus, now each individual room, should roll a dice of negative moves vs the moving dice 🎲 to extend the game by reducing steps and each room get to have a question with that other person near tasc room, to investigate eachother, once collected Intel, everyone head to the meeting room, look inside the envelope if you where right then finish to solve the imposter if you were wrong your eliminated from moving and none get to ask about your card's, making the game difficult without evidence.
Crack!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
wow thats really good
As you are not supposed to know where everyone else is on the board (only the people close to you), how would this game mechanic work?
this is a useful start but I could not make this work without seeing another tutorial th-cam.com/video/wzIkIQ7Hebc/w-d-xo.html also you need to create the inst dir the main problem is that it doesn't connect to the midi keyboard! I don't know how the grepping for nanoKey etc.. is meant to select the client ids for the midi keyboard. Anyhow my keyboard is called "Keystation" so grepping for nanoKey is not going to work
Awesome! I’ve got sound and it sounds good. Once I load a sound font how do I load the different sounds within that sound font? I’m only able to play the first initial bank sound.
❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
can i buy that
just kiding
but it would be nice if inersloth made that into a actual board game
Amazing!
Wow interesting. I love smoke (and fire) and this was so fascinating to watch.
A lot to recommend here!
Do you have any delay with raspberry Pi? my nanokey2 have 0.25 sec delay in win11. That makes me crazy. I think I should replace my laptop with raspberry Pi
amongus
very cool
YES
Seriously for the cost of 1 years rego, you can have transport for a few years. No petrol, no burnt dinosaurs, and of course no fuel cost! The skills you will learn maintaining the bike are priceless and you will get a good amount of exercise as well which is awesome.
Just be really careful, stay safe and educate yourselves!
Which USB hub did you use? i have the same one as in your parts guide section but it only has 2 USB inputs. the one in the final shots has 3 USB inputs ans also has a switch on the side..
Thanks a lot, GREAT JOB!!! I'm stuck at 18:30 :) ! When I add ./setup.sh (also tried./startup.sh) and reboot I get "no such file or directory". What am I missing? Thanks for your time!
I liked the figurines. What do you think, how much would they cost me if I wanted them to be printed out somewhere? ~approximately?
Isn't there a better way that isn't closing your eyes? By doing this you're removing your interaction with the players and that's what makes every board game fun
There is no other way lol. How is the imposter players suppose to kill crews without revealing themselves?
Can i buy this for my son Xmas present?
The sussiest board game that exists.
cool
How does one determine the system name for the MIDI device? Below are my install notes, hope they are helpful, especially turning off the BCM to allow the USB card number edit to take effect. I got stuck at the end due to not knowing the system name for my MIDI keyboard. Any suggestions? sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade #Audio settings #raise priority of audio device sudo usermod -a -G audio pi sudo nano /etc/security/limits.d/audio.conf #possible new file creation #add these lines @audio - rtprio 80 #note space before and after dash @audio - memlock unlimited #to find devices, use card number in alsa.conf above #may need full power cycle to bring up number of USB card aplay -l sudo nano /boot/config.txt #gui text editor does not have permission to save How to enable USB audio adapter # Enable audio (loads snd_bcm2835) dtparam=audio=on #change to off sudo nano /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf defaults.ctl.card 0 #change to 1 if audio device is card number 1 defaults.pcm.card 0 #change to 1 reboot #for device specification to be read and become effective alsamixer #to test audio speaker-test -c2 -twav sudo apt-get install fluidsynth #how to determine system name for my midi keyboard? #can't edit sample using nano or kontrol until I figure out #the system name for my midi keyboard
I have a cabinet and I wanna play ps2 games on but with joystick what do I need? Can any one help me out?
Broooooooooo this is so cool!!
Hi, I found this very useful but when I run "sudo nano inst/keyboard" it says [ Directory 'inst' does not exist ] what I can do???
create it via ftp ;-)
me too. It's simple to fix just do : mkdir inst
