Update on what my night looks like overnight at amazon fresh, my thoughts on everything amazon fresh so far and some examples of poor management with issues within the store.

I thought I would make a video following my experience from day one working as an overnight grocery associate for Amazon fresh. This video simply is just telling you how my first day of orientation went, what to expect and how to prepare yourself for what the shift may look like for you. @@shigu6753 well for me it took the next day for them to notify me of getting the job and from another video I saw I don't think they interview you only that there's an orientation

I have a shift from 6am to 430pm with fresh. only bad thing is I'm also a night owl so idk how I'ma do it 😭😭 I saw a shift near me overnight but didn't know how it was gonna be so I didn't take it. bummer bc it paid more.

I hope you like it! The store i was at was all bad. The people is what made the job worth being there. In my opinion if you need extra cash its good to have.
Did you get transferred? How is the new place. Also is their a Amazon Fresh Meat, Seafood and Produce Associate their at that time?
The meat dept is called Paleo. Amazon doesnt carry fresh meat and seafood. They literally take it out of pre packed containers and just line it up as if its fresh. If you look at the signs it says frozen and prepackaged where it tells you the kinds of meat and seafoods thats ok display. You arent ever cutting meat. But you clean veggies And count.

They do a background check but no drug test for overnight. No health check

Yup no lies only the people u become cool with makes it better I work at a fresh in Houston and let me tell you it's insane no one knows nothing everyone is boss but no one is the boss nope not a long term career move for me I've only been here 5 months

HI i start in a few weeks brand new store. I wanted to work full time but my mistake put part time. Is there anyway to move from part tome to full time.. Does the Amazon fresh store use the amazon A to Z app. I"m coming from a warhouse as a transfer... Also do part time people get good hours? do you know.. I know your full time but just asking.. @@cerealis_5432 they were supposed to send some stuff like last week, they haven't yet so now I have to wait until the 14th, that's when they train me and I have to wake at 6am

I dont own the store so no, i’m not the problem. I don’t cause food to go bad, management being not knowing how to run a store, and trying to give people food thats been sitting out to long so their numbers don’t go down. So no, i’m not the issue. Thanks for your comment though!

Day is way easier
You can start at night and tell them you want to transfer to day. You can do that by filling out a paper you can get from you ASM. Or can ask a ZL. I coulda grabbed it myself, at the store i was at it was on the wall before the office you can get it yourself and fill it out then leave it in the inbox they have there or id hand it to the zl or asm
I applied for overnight associate but i specifically dont know where im gonna be put at and are they the one deciding it and same as the schedule? They said on the email that i should have open availability the whole week. Im currently working so idk hows my schedule going to be
