I don't think rent stabilized apartments are fair to the landlord.and I don't understand how it is legal in a capitalized society. We don't tell the grocery store what to charge for groceries nor do we tell the gas station but they can charge for gas so how is it we can tell landlords what they charge in rent and they are locked in for decades. Often the rent stabilized apartment does not keep up with inflation and expenses and the landlord loses money. In my opinion it is wrong and unfair.

'This is my library,' she says, then goes on to show a room with twenty books in it, displayed in such a way that their spines are invisible... It's a lovely apartment, but that rubbed me the wrong way.

It appears that Homeworthy is posting old video programs under the name Homeworthy New York and advertising them as new. Regardless it is still getting clicks which is a great way to increase revenue without creating something new. I think this women has done a great job decorating her apartment. It's welcoming.

These apartments hardly ever come up for rent because families just pass them from one family member to another. My friend grew up on Bleecker St. in a 2 bedroom and it passed to his son when his mom died. She's very fortunate to have it.

What is the gorgeous bedroom paint color and who makes it?

Wish I could’ve enjoyed this. The camera work made me so dizzy. Panning way too fast and very shaky.

I’d love to hear how people keep theses homes clean and organized. Explaining how many helpers, what they do each day, what services they outsource, what they clean once a month, thrice a year, etc. That would be very informative and entertaining bc keeping a house like that is not for everyone.

It's a beautifully decorated apartment. It conveys a sense of opulence with a friendly, warming quality. The only thing l would do differently is the pillow grouping on the bed. The headboard is large and l would put bigger pillows with some color and/or pattern to make it less stark, but otherwise it's amazing.

Owner is so elegant and charming and the home is the same....

If anyone has that tub never take it out. There has never been a more ergonomic bathtub and probably never will be. Its good Ally put this episode up again as there's a lot to take in.

She can raise the plastic tree up, fill in with a disc of cardboard and then moss on top. Fake trees are for me. Some real living plants in the room sells it.

She definitely seems like a fun person to hang out with and LOVE the colorful decor.

Love all the DIYing even though it seems they can afford to have things done for them, gives it a lot more character. The bathroom ceiling for example: so impressive!
