I notice the part where you put the eartips looks… short (?) So I wd like to ask if you had any problem with what

bought one, tried different tip sizes, low volumes etc. BUT: * for some reason, ears pain, head goes dizzy and skin burns * they reek of some kind of chemicals * highly uncomfortable I only used earpods kind of fit always so far, then tried out this iem, but should I return? Could it be made out of really cheap harmful materials? Also, the electronics involved could be much bigger than the apple earpods one for instance - thus more EMI (EM induction) as well - the adverse effect, not exactly known/ are controversial. I personally have to conduct experiments as my masters only helped gain a bit of theoretical knowledge of physics

Well, I've owned an Ixus 105. Quite recenty, in the past couple of years. I paid little for it, played with it, used it for some time, and then sold it. The quality of the photos was much better than those you've shown here. Yours must have been a rather knackered example.

Hhm. Noisy..? I currently have sat on my dining table..., a Ricoh GX100, a CX1, a Ricoh Caplio R5, an R7, and have had several of these in the past also. I just like the older Ricohs. They all make that electro-mechanical noise of the zoom/lens retracting. On my GX100, I've never found any annoying issues with the menu, or startup. I don't hugely subscribe to the 'CCD Magic' thing in terms of the GX100. It definitely does have the CCD vibe, and as you say, B&W is outstanding. The camera is basically a 'GR Digital II', but with added zoom. Funny though, it doesn't matter what other camera I happen to have been using , whenever I go to pick up the GX100, it's like picking up an old friend. The handling is so wonderful, how they all should be. I can't remotely afford to buy a £1000 Ricoh GR, but well understand why anyone would want to. Thank you for posting this video, much appreciated. For street shooting, I have MY1 (Preset 1) set up with the step zoom set to 28mm. And the focus set to 'snap focus'. For B&W, I use the same settings on MY2 but with B&W. Photos are instant. Have to say, in my experience everyone is going about their own business, with their own thoughts, and are never really bothered by the tiniest noises of camera.

Is this model relevant today for $313? Or are there better options?

Are the photos shown jpegs or raws? Sooc? Nice video. I love my Ricoh GRD1 but wish the lens had more reach sometimes. This is the zoom equivalent that i been meaning to try.

I think this is getting out of hand, some ccds look different. I’ve yet to come across a camera with a ccd that is putting out something WILDLY different

I wouldn't say this is unique to a CCD sensor, it's just Ricoh doing Ricoh things

I apologize for showing up to the party a couple years late but I thought I’d take a chance because I have to pull the trigger on one of the ISMs that have turned into my Holy Grail so to speak. As we all know they’re neither is expensive but it’s more of a need to have these IEMs that have sort of taken on a cult status for me over the years. I’ll eventually get both but I don’t want to get them at the same time as I think it will diminish the experience with both . The models I’m talking about are the Sony XB A3 which I just finished your video on that which is why I’m taking a shot here. Your knowledge and delivery are top of the range IMO. I’d love to hear your opinion on my other HG item which I’ve wanted even longer . The Sony MDR EX800ST. I would consider your thoughts on how these two compare as the definitive comparison and I’d never have to seek an experts advice on this again. Or. I really must find more of your videos.

I love the Wyvern Abyss. It has a harmanish sound with much better mids. Just decrease the upper mids a little and it sounds great.
