Watch This Before Getting A Goldendoodle
This is what I would consider the perfect goldendoodle, no I don’t pay attention to color. I am focused on the BIG 3: Structure, Temperament & Size!

Things They Won’t Tell You About Goldendoodles
They’re stupid, period 😊
My puppy is 75% golden retriever and 25% doodle.
Hi. Love your videos. I want to get my son a Goldendoodle F1. I've decided 100%. How can I get in touch with you personally. I am 100% on board w Goldendoodles. Also, would love to be able to pick your brain and possibly get one of yours. Since if I am not mistaken you Breed them.
Thank you King for all the info. Where can I go to pick a puppy from you?
If you go to my website and fill out an application then I will contact you!
@@gabebollinger Okay King, I will take a look there. Thank you for the quick response.
This is a SUPER IMPORTANT VIDEO! My minidoodle is loyal, but independent (stubborn and a non-cuddler), a non-licker (yay!) is scared of car rides, is a picky eater, doesn't like the water, sheds some (tho he is hypoallergenic), and is a velcro dog--everything sticks to his fur, so he mats at the drop of a hat. He is also super intelligent, fun loving, and mellow--except when he's got the zoomies.😅 I was working toward him being a visiting dog at care facilities, because of his great personality. I was going to breed him (a lot of demand for apricot mini Goldendoodles), but his grooming needs are SO intense, I think his coat is too much work for most people (it is for me!). Probably going to fix him. And sad to say I'm pondering re-homing him to an indoor owner. 😢😢😢 Time, effort and money I've invested in caring for his long, fluffy coat was totally unexpected. 😢
The grooming is ENDLESS. I was prepared to brush my minidoodle, and brushed him every day. Still got matts. Argh! It's an unending battle that I am losing. I love my doodle, but would not get one again.
I have 2 F1B golden doodles. One is curly curly and doesn’t shed. The other has the looser hair type and sheds like crazy!
Gabe, as a born-again Christian and breeder, what vaccines do you recommend doodles getting? There are a few my vet recommends that have many side effects. Getting rabies this afternoon., not sure about the others. Thank you!
Hey! Definitely want to get the parvo vaccine, if not it could be detrimental.
@@gabebollinger thanks for the quick response, Gabe! It’s safe to get the rabies and parvo at the same time? Thanks again.
I get it there a puppy but mu dog is like 7 weeks old and everytime i try and pet him he will usually try and bite me, not in a mean way but like teething\playful way but will he eventually grow out of that or what. I have a golden doodle as well and also heard they just like to chew a lot.
How are the female golden doodles I'm getting one just born
Hey, how long is long hours- I do 6 hours but I’m planning to get the pup on the summer and train them to be okay on there own as i don’t do summer jobs etc ? Would a golden doodle work for that
Can you please show me how to best scissor cut the rest of the head also? (I love your videos!!)
awesome doggos, top thing Id say...if you go to groomers youll be paying at least 100 each every time-every 2-3 months, so learn to groom them and buy an Oster A6 (or better)and several blades.
All dogs are great dogs and beautiful. But this F1 business and F1b and F2 is really ridiculous sorry to say. How can people decipher between what they need and not need in a dog. A proper breeder will do that for you, one with pures not crosses. One that has been with the one breed for many many years and very experienced to help you with all that. A pet person does not know the ins and outs of a breed. Because the dogs they have are all different, a pedigree has been selectively bred. This is disaster. I mean I've owned crosses and rescued and they are great dogs its not about the dogs it about the people. Ppl breeding their pets are only interested in grabbing money and will say what people want to hear. Whereas a "breeder" will look at the welfare of their dogs and choose the most suitable home and give 100% backup. Choose proper actual "breeders" wisely not from dogs you can buy half the price at a shelter and save lives.
People breeding their pets are not breeders! A breeder is a person who breeds one breed of dog. You can't say for certain that these crosses are a certain way because they are all different. Why not get the real thing a "Poodle" then you are guaranteed of temperament, appearance and also knowledge from a proper breeder as to health genetics in the dog. Ppl breeding their pets do not back up what they are breeding and are not there when things fall apart, they have no reg. pedigrees so do not know what is behind their dogs and do not know the health of ancestors its all random. Also they aren't experienced enough to advise on training either. Its a large animal welfare issue around the world encouraging ppl to elevate themselves to "breeders" is wrong. THEY ARE NOT. sorry. These poor dogs are suffering in the hands of greedy humans only interested in their hip pocket they are good car salesmen though..
I’ve had my mini golden doodle for 5 weeks and I’m already obsessed with the amount of joy and love she has brought into my life. Her only flaw is that she eats her own poo and is so stinky afterwards. I go outside with her so I can pick up immediately but she is often lightening quick and gets it before I do. Any suggestions on how to curb her of this nasty habit?
You’re spot on with your comments!! Everything you said is sooo right🎉🎉we have a beautiful sweet little F 1 B miniature Goldendootle Puppy and she wants to be with us ALL THE TIME! For us she’s perfect as we work from home❤❤🎉
She's So Good...
Great content! love the lifestyle you got mate! well done !
I like the before

What kind of dog is produced with two F1b golden doodles.
I’m thinking about getting one. My friend wants to give his away. I wanted to know do you think it will do well coming into a house with another dog? He lived in a house with 2. But he hasn’t met my dog yet and I currently have an American cocker spaniel
How can anyone talk about doodles without talking about the jumping? It is their most difficult and dangerous characteristic!
I'm gonna get one
I own a f2b mini golden doodle she’s perfect !!! She’s 25 pounds a great listener …follows me all over goes to the coffee shop with me …they can require a lot of attention so if you don’t have time don’t get one !!!!!! Also brush them every single day !!!
Damn so cute 🥰
My doodle has 0 shed or odor. I’m asthmatic. I can kiss her and love her. 2 months now no issues.
I rescued one who lived in mats and was neglected. She’s very timid. I choose to keep her super short. Even tho she looks silly. I don’t wanna put her thru the trauma or brushing any tangles out.
I’ll add my 2 cents as a pro groomer. 1. Don’t use a clipper without watching instructional video. Learn about coolant, and skin areas that are very vulnerable to getting caught in the blade. 2. Points of friction will get matted. 3. Ears, tongues, foot pads are loaded with blood vessels. They will bleed like a fountain. Never use scissors on the foot pads. Be extremely cautious around the ears and watch a head scissoring video to see how to safely trim around the muzzle. 3. I clip behind the ears with a ten or 7, to remove and prevent mats. I like to use a ten just beneath the ear opening and sometimes inside the ear flap if there is a lot of hair in there. This way we have a good airflow for the ear canal. You need to keep an eye on the hair inside the ears. Excessive hair blocks the ear canal and collects matter at the roots. It’s common for golden and doodles to get dirty ears. Ear wipes are a very easy method to clean the ears and prevent ear infection. 4. You can get a professional clipper. Use a ten blade for sanitary trim, eye corners and to remove hair around the bum and genitals. You can use a 30 place to trim between foot pads. Optimally you would learn how to clip then get a set of stainless guard combs. These click onto the 30 blade so you can set the length. Also if you use a guard comb you won’t blade burn. 5. Invest in a metro force commander blow dryer. You can use this to blow debris off after a hike check for ticks, blow the coat dry at the root. If you’re going to cut the coat it’s going to be rough without a proper prep and it won’t look even. It’s so important to get dander and stuff off of the skin. I can’t stress enough to watch the videos be patient it takes time to get the feel of the clippers and to learn the correct scissor holding.
great video, just a tip if you want, lower the music a little so i can hear you talk more clearly about it!
I LOVE the goldendoodle. My husband and i are retired and got 2 mixed breed dogs that people were getting rid of. I checked the price of the goldendoodle which is way out of our price range. Are there any rescues.
I’m confused so a mini golden doodle, are they more poodle then retriever?
I adopted one at 18 months. She’s 50 lbs and I’d like to know what she is. Can we email pictures or can you link a website with how to figure this out?
Can you breed a standard male golden doodle with a mini golden doodle? And also, what tools do you use for grooming! Thanks so much!
Very bad video... You'll ruin the coat if you dont do it the proper way.
great video about grooming the coat ive decided to stay short much easier. Do you pluck your doodles ears? And if so how often?
Hi Gabe thanks for the video. Where can i purchase this slicker for my five month old doodle?! Please!
My golden doodle is a good dog but she’s hyper around pple and I can’t bring her places that much.
I wish people would STOP breeding these MUTTS. My question to them ... are your kids bred like that?
Wish we can get one from you
If I get a F1B GD can I breed it with another GD or maybe a poodle
For everyone that sees this comment: Do not get a doodle for the love of everything good. They are backyard bred, genetic messes. Their health and temperament are unpredictable and they require daily brushing a professional grooming every 6 weeks. Just get a freaking well bred Poodle. At least you know what you're spending your money on.
Great video. I’m thinking of grooming my 2 doodles. But I’m nervous to do private area , paws between toes. How about clipping claws and expressing anal gland
Sueño con tener un GOLDENDOODLE ❤ algún dia❤❤❤❤
Why don’t people just buy a poodle?
Can you make a video on how to get started in breeding Goldendoodles? I’ve been thinking of it for a while now, just not sure how/where to start
Hi Gabe! I have a 1 year old male Goldendoodle that has more of a retriever face where his hair on his head, snout and around his mouth is short. His coat is straight and wavy. Any suggestions on how to groom from the head back? His coat starts to lengthen at the front side of his ears back.
If I sent a picture could you tell me what Gen mine is? And as a 10week old will they shed there puppy hair?
what’s the weight for those two?
