Awesome ❤ how do ppl shower
We built an outdoor shower with an on demand propane water heater
Why did you remove the insulation and not just put ceiling boards on the surface of the rafters? Keep up that single clapping!
We wanted to add new insulation and expose the beams
I would try to pop a board or two out and try to get some insulation in there my guy. Environment around you could be forgiving but if you live in like NY it’s gunna be COLD.
We do have insulation. The cover photo shows the new insulation we added plus with the tighter spaces we shoved it down tight by hand. This is an edited Timelapse and I only showed putting the shiplap on.
Gotta have insulation dude lol

Should definitely have kept the insulation in good luck with the gas/electric bill

Looks great!! What a transformation!
Thank you!!
So dramatic
You gotta know the rules before you can break the rules
We know the rules 😉
That’s a massive attic lol
It was a bedroom years and years ago but eventually they used it as an attic.
lol no insulation 😂 no climate control at all nice job noobs
Right. Look at me while I show how complete morons do. 😂😂😂
For real I thought they were putting it in at the beginning but naw dawg is really pulling it out and just putting boards over an empty space lmao

Thank you! ☺️ it’s coming together nicely
nice couple a good team for work
Difference between try and triumph is just a little umph. 😊
My dad always said there's no such as can't
Why does that sound like a pitched down Markiplier.
Looks like Jr is going to grandma's house 🏠..... All kidding aside pretty nice Job...
Thank you! ☺️

Roughly how many hours did part 3 take? You are inspiring!
Thank you!! I’d say it took us between 20-30 hrs to finish from that point.
Where's the bathroom?
The most recent video is a full tour of the A-frame. We have an outhouse, outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen.
TOP
Que medidas tiene?
It’s a 10x12 ft A-frame, 12 ft tall
Super , me encantó!!!
Thank you!! 😊
El calentador Tendria que estar fuera de ese cuarto húmedo, y hay que ponerle una campana encima y un tramo largo hacia arriba. estando donde esta y come esta instalado; se esta quemando el serpentín y la combustión la respiran al prenderlo.
This is an outdoor shower so it is completely open to the air.
Keren sekali rumah nya😎
Thank you! ☺️
What do you do about bathroom for your Airbnb customers that stay in this unit?
Our most recent video goes through a full tour of the A-frame Airbnb set up. We have an outhouse, outdoor shower and even an outdoor kitchen.
"off-grid" im sure theres no internet or shower or something and you're still gonna charge like $200 per night. im sick of any and all landlords tbh
We do have an outdoor shower but no internet (which people are looking to get away from when they book here). We charge $99 per night and are booked solid all season. It’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea but those people usually book elsewhere.
Best wishes. Spray all the edges of the cabins with Ortho. Inside & out. It’s great for keeping ants, spiders & other insects away. I’ve used it for yrs.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check it out.
Nice looking little cabin. What is the size of it ?
Thank you! It’s a 10x12
@@TheDoerDuo Thank you. that’s about what I thought it was. Really cool little Cabin you guys built. How do you like the water heater for the outdoor shower.
It’s our little slice of paradise. 😍 The water heater is AMAZING! I can’t recommend it enough.
So nice i loved❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Two words...... Vapor barrier!
Thanks for the tip!
Great! You are so amazing!! Thanks for sharing. The only house I ever built is Lego.....A house for peanut. 😂Now, I think it the time to do someting bigger.
Thank you! Go for it 💪 😄
Paradise ❤
Don't spray. Spread a light dusting of Diatomaceous Earth around the bottom of the building. This will stop ants and other bugs without horrible chemicals. It's also cheaper then poisons. Just a light dusting. It won't hurt animals including humans. Only bugs. Don't need a large amount. Promote the off-grid benefits by using natural remedies. Please.
We have actually tried this in the past and it didn’t work in controlling the vast amounts of ants that we get here. We’re all for natural alternatives if they work otherwise we have to deal with guests that have a less ideal experience and we don’t want that.
Where is this located???
We’re in Maine!
Beautiful!
Thank you! ☺️
Tempo SC Ultra
Do you have a bathroom out building somewhere ??
Yes we have an outhouse, outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen. Our most recent video gives a full tour.
Hello! Nice job! Can i ask yoy wich store you fiind this 4 ciment Block for corners to put de wood frame? How they named? Thank you!
They are called deck blocks and are sold at any big box building store like Home Depot or Lowe’s
What a beautiful family ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 🥰
That young man is being raised well
🥰
So I have a pee-pee question, where does it drain? Pee-pee gets smelly fast!
We have a dump site in the ground away from the A-frame so smell is never an issue 🙌
Be careful with those outside wall shingles. They look like asbestos shingles. When professionals remove them they wear bunny suits. Just a heads-up.😊 Could be wooden shingles, my phones screen is crap however its always good to check before fixing. Also, get a lead paint test kit if theres any old painted areas inside. You can paint over it but you dont want to sand it.
Thanks for the heads up! They are wooden shingles, were painted within the last 20 years and the interior was all paneling thankfully!
That was not a satellite. That was an antenna.
Antenna’s were long before our time so we had no idea.
Just a side note, antenna TV nowadays will give you 4K TV for free with a surprising amount of channels (which you can record and skip ads with a $100 box).
And watch classic television like Get Smart
@@miked4515we use superbox which is also free and has everything without the massive bulky antenna.
I love my maple syrup but wonder if all the wood burned was worth the pollution wld be better to use hydro or solar tht was a lot of wood for 4 gallons
Not sure how you can make maple syrup with hydro or solar and it’s very cost prohibitive for most people. We only do it once a year for personal use. Also, If you eat meat (which we don’t) then you’re contributing to pollution more than anything else on this earth. Choose your battles I guess.
@TheDoerDuo as for the solar and hydro I mean you can smelt steal with electricity and most of us boil water with electricity so ya i cant imagine being able to boil sap. and after thinking about it burning would create natural by products that nature wld need so it might be a neutral effect. And the fact that you do it for your benefit dosent matter if everyone else dose it. But it's true got to pick your battles 😊 and the fact you don't eat meat means a farmer has to kill every living none plant in his fields to make a profit. I'm no environmentalist myself I burn plenty of wood and charcoal for cooking as well as propane and heat with oil plus waste a lot of electricity generated by coal ,gas and nuclear
Ué e cama da criança sem entender🤔 Tanto trabalho só ter um quarto fala sério ⁉️
Yes and it’s a very popular short term rental. People love it! 😊
Love the video especially seeing youre little helper made me remember when i use help my dad when i was kid thank you for helping me to remember this memorie ❤
Thank you! We’re hoping he remembers just as you do.
I would sell it to people around the country. 16oz for $25+. Where else can they get it???
For the amount we make it wouldn’t be worth it and it’s more of a hobby. This amount usually lasts us until the next season. We eat A LOT of maple syrup around here! 😂
I live in nh it's right in my neighborhood and your price isn't that far off a little on the cheap side
🍁
Why bother to paint it white before insulation?
We decided after the fact to add insulation to extend the season.
