Hi Charles thanks for your comment. The reason we chose Calais is we are based in Kent so Calais being the closest port of entry and also we wanted to show a not so popular route as from Le Havre. Good luck with your trip, hope you do it soon. 👍

Thanks Clive, such is sailing I guess, a passing motor boat sped passed us so fast early morning rolling us so severely it threw me onto the floor and we also lost a spinnaker pole over the side 2 months ago. 😫 We watch Marks episodes and admire the way he edits them. Like Mark we will be motoring through the French canals pretty soon although taking a slightly different route, entering at Calais. Thanks for the comment 👍
