What was your biggest mistake? Do you have a 40D or just a 30D? What else did you do to the engine? Did you delete the EGR as well? Swivel flaps? Did you upgrade the turbo? or just deleted dpf and bigger exhaust pipe?

I’m in Illinois too, awesome! Where did you get the delete/tuning work done at? I’m waiting for my “off-road “ parts to come in soon.

For the exhaust, did you have to keep any sensors?

No your right buddy!! These vehicles are amazing; it’s more than getting in a car and going from point a to point b. There is an experience to it all and only passionate enthusiasts can feel the difference so coodos to you and your e70 🎉

Ok, sounds like a truck & a great way to attract the attention of the police. Just rolling past them, they'd know it's been modified. Not sure about the US, but here in Australia, if anyone gets busted having removed/deleted DPF or any other emissions control, you face huge fines of up to $25,000.

Great video, sure N57s emission stuff is slightly better but core engine itself is riddled with issues. N57s are notorious for snapping timing chains after 90k miles, rod bearing issues if followed BMWs idiotic extended oil change intervals of 12.000M-18.000M depending on your location, main bearing problem if ran too long with stretched timing chain and/or damaged harmonic balancer. To make it all worse, timing chain is in the back of the engine so its either an engine or transmission out job.

Bag o shite yours is an n57 not m57 the m57 is a much more reliable engine The n57 engine chains let go

Yes it's a good machine, I use Optimum No Rinse (ONR) in my bucket and it cuts down on potential water marks

Don't hesitate to do a delete. It will save a ton of money and you're car will run 10x better

Beautiful car. You got a great deal. Be careful when you put the top down like you did in this video. You can actually puncture the plastic window. There are extra steps to to be safer.

In AUS it's ilegal to delete the DPF it makes your car unroadworthy due to emissions , and yours sounds like a semi - trailer .

What are you force feedback settings. There are people with every wheel you can imagine (mine are CSL DD and T500RS) that experience violent wheel wobble when driving very slowly. How do you avoid that?
