I felt so angry when i saw footage of a man humping a police officer a few years ago at this same event. It should not be allowed to continue if the people in attendance cant behave.

I wish you could be an advisor on police matters to the government. Doesn't matter who's in power, either.

Well done for looking after your mum so well. I had to put my dad in a care home as I was working full time. It was the worst thing I could have done and he deteriorated rapidly. Totally agree. Stand up for our values and you're called racist. This year I've been listening to Katie Hopkins who talks a lot of sense. Someone else who has been demonised.

I think in 100 years from now they'll look back at this time as an age of ignorance. People act like certain races cannot be racist or experience racism. People act like religion and race are the same thing. People act like a lot of the weird genders that exist now didn't just crop up in the past 20 years. We're in an age of extremism, although people cannot see the extremism because it's not right wing. I think it's going to take some actual hardship and tragedy to happen for people to understand that extremism can be left wing as well. I genuinely think for a tolerant society to exist views cannot be too right wing or left wing, they just need to be in the middle.

There is no reason to be a armed police officer. They get the same wages as a regular police officer, but get dragged through the mud for trying to do their job / protect the public.

The disdain for UK police is a national disgrace.. the people that work so hard to protect society's most vulnerable are somehow now the villains? Incredible..

I definitely think anonymity should be granted for police officers during a OIS, if they get charged then they serve their sentence, they don't need to have their and their families social lives and security ruined for a long time..

No protection for police , why would anyone want to police in todays society. Your meant to be able to do your job , protect public and it seems soon as you do your job and something happens during a incident. Your own (police force) even turn on you, you've got no hope

Brilliant interview Harry, great points made. In my view as a lay person, I think the judge who made this ruling today has zero concept of the damage releasing this officers name is going to cause him and his family. Not to mention the enormous strain on his mental health that must already be at breaking point. Ludicrous decision. The country is fast becoming a criminals paradise
