Yes just by looking at it I could tell you can ride all sorts of terrain. However, it's limited on big hill climbs or any situation that requires a lot of power and balance. But this bike is designed for exploration, comfort and all day riding and to me (an experienced rider) that tops everything Cheers USA

Hi! Did nearly the same modifikations. You talked about offroad riding so i'd highly recommend the rear mudguard offered also by Hitchcok. I also can recommend pivot pegs, they really are an improvement. Additional I mounted ceramic brake pads. Greetings and save riding!😉

I did this trip on Royal Enfields with a group a few years ago, same route pretty much. We ended up at Muktinath Temple instead. Your video brings back great memories. It really helped, having a lot of dirt bike riding experience - with those rough hills, you gotta hit them with speed and keep the throttle on. It seems counterintuitive, but the RE's are actually quite competent bikes for off-road riding, they're surprisingly capable. But you've got to keep your speed up to have a hope of not falling off. Seeing you guys fall off brought a lot of memories back 😅

I have the GIVI protection (TN9050) installed on my Himalayan. The left part protrudes and continuously hits the left ankle. I have contacted the manufacturer, sent photos, and explained the problem. They have treated me correctly, but they tell me that the protection is designed that way. Other users have the same problem.

Fender risers and better off road tires are indeed an absolute must on the Himalayan if you plan to spend any time in the dirt. Both make a world of difference.

So firstly thanks for a great informative video 👍 iv just bought a 2021 Euro 4 same colour pick it up this Saturday 🥳😊 when I test rode it the wind noise was awful with the original screen 🥴 so the guy said I’ll take it off and now go and ride it again…. What a difference it transferred the ride so what sort of difference does that extra 6 cm on that screen really make I’m 6ft 🤔
