Best bike adventure documentary l've seen on TH-cam so far, one of the most brutal condition and featuring a fellow female rider, absolutely inspirational! A trip in Nepal/Tibet went down on my bucket list for sure, big thank you for creating these great content, it really bugs me how little the views and sub you've got.

Thank You!! I needed to watch this. I recently took ten weeks for Me And My Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 to ride around Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, but on roads, in my tent and cabins. Nothing like what you did. The same adventure spirit is still there though. The leaving in the morning not knowing what the day will bring. I only dropped mine 3 times ;-) Before I even made it home the plan had formulated to sell Everything, house, car, down to where the only things I will own would be on my bike, and then disappear for two years. Now that I'm safe in my house which has a magic box on the wall that puts the temperature exactly where I want it, I'm getting scared. With every load to Goodwill and every eBay sale I ship out, I'm thinking what if at the last minute I wimp out and don't go through with it. That is such an easy slippery slope to fall down. I am finding that the fear of not following through with my dream is scarier than anything I encountered on the road. Your video was a great boost to my morale today. Thank you. And thank you for being brave enough to share not only your experiences but Your Fears.

I went for this trip two years back. faced all the similar challenges you had faced. better were our bikes though, not that better at all but better than RE 250. with great struggle we (me and a friend) reached Lo-manthang. However on the return trip, I fell and injured my knee pretty badly, I didn't have knee caps guards on. Now I couldn't ride the bike. sucha frustrating feeling. we were in the middle of nowhere and had no option but to ride anyhow. So the force of sheer will got me on my bike and we started riding downhill again. with paining leg all along, a single gearshift was such a struggle and road, weather, nature in all was against me at that point. my friend didnt know but I cried inside my helmet while I was riding, oh! so frustrating. then we encountered a bicycling group ( yes, they were cycling to up there, totally rad) and an old man was pushing his limits uphill. he could be around 80yo or even 85, but really old, then that brightened me up because his will power was inspiring. With great difficulty but positive mind we descended, stayed at Kagbeni for the night, then reached home 2 days later. The knee still pains sometimes, 2 years later but when i look back, it was by far the best trip i have ever had in a motorcycle ( I have clocked 120000kms till now, started riding in 2012).
havent been able to do motorcycle trips since then partly cause of the injury and mostly due to the LIFE, cause life happened and m still in some kind of turmoil. but cant wait to make another trip but to Manang this time. I dream of doing cross continents , lets hope will do it in this lifetime. but one thing is sure, next trip, its gonna be proper riding gear, proper bike and proper preparation. so glad I came across your video. god bless biker girl.

What an epic story! Thanks for taking the time to share. Oh I didn’t wear knee guards last year (I went back to mustang) and I fell off onto a rock...my god the pain haha. Cross country riding is the free-est experience. Hope you do get around from it! My new series is coming out in December. Hope you get a chance to see it!

I travelled on this part even before that road was black toped... it was fun though coz at least we knew the road and scenery was amazing. I wish you could have enjoyed a lot. Always look for friends who can group up for such adventure so it would be comparatively easier. I hope the hospitality provided to you by the people helped in healing all the suffering of the beautiful trip.

Are you sure you can’t? You can easily get to the Himalaya in India, or even Nepal. You don’t need to stay in fancy hotels, you don’t need to have fancy things. The only thing that might be a problem is time. Most people can’t afford to take time off. But if you can, go and do it!
